so far - so good. My short technology err... my long on the TYP direxion bear is working out well. Up 5% as I write this. The question is? Do I cash out or do I hold through the weekend and into AAPL's earnings?
Decisions, decisions... hmmm....

Looks like I'm gonna hold to AAPL earnings. I think the house is on my side... "why so weak before earnings". Usually it's buy on rumour and sell on news...? Is it different this time? (I remember that phrase so well back in 1999 - 2000) It's different this time <ggg>

on second thought... I decided to cash out of TYP. It had a nice pop today so I took some money off the table.
Sold TYP 2000 shares @ $10.11 for a nice 10.2% gain.
On another note, I'm finally in the green in terms of my account.

I didn't make a trade for a couple of weeks... I like volatility but the way market was acting was just crazy... anyway, bought 1000 shares of TNA @ $19.55 this morning.
TYP also looks really good...

Decided to make some last minute changes... sold 1000 shares $19.72 TZA for a $170.00 gain.
bought TYP 1600 shares for $9.95 and a new ETF HVU.to 1000 shares @ $3.94
(this one is a very hot potato)

I wasn't here a whole lot... but when I woke up this morning I sold TYP 1600 shares @ 10.031 & HVU.to 1000 shares @ 3.97. I made around $70.00 <g>
Anyway I bought 'em back near the end of the trading day 1680 shares of TYP @ $10.00 & 1000 shares of HVU.to @ $3.80.
So far so good I'm up for the day around $220.00. Tomorrow is another day...

sold HVU.to for $4.29 for a 12.3% gain & sold TYP $10.61 for a 6% gain or for $1405 dollars...

On March 15, 2012 I said that GOLD/Silver is finished. How would I done on that 'off the cuff' reply?
or how about this chart? If I had the balls this is what I should've done...
Oh well.... another painful lesson learned. (go with your convictions)

You know it's interesting. I was aware of the buy signal that HNU flagged on April 26th at $9.00 but I ignored it. The reason I ignored it was because I had been burnt so many times before. The reasons that I was "burnt" before had everything to do with lack of discipline. On my previous entries I tried to call the bottom which in the end was a fool's game. I didn't listen to the charts & obviously I'm still not listening... hence I missed the move by NatGas.
