Not necessarily negative, but I liked the subliminal messages giving them a 30-day window to get things done. No doubt more than a few on the board will latch onto that and then let the crying begin if nothing happens in the next 30 days...LOL

" ... the optionors have been caught up in the general stock market and financing malaise ..."

The Chinese iron and steel industry is facing headwinds ... from yesterday's Fast Money:
video.cnbc.com

Partial Transcript:
They [Chinese steel companies] have overcapacity with the steels and that's going to affect corporate earnings in 2012. you are talking about them and it's still sector facing head winds. how does that go for the u.s.-based steal companies. this is the dynamics. the steel industry in china is losing money. the costs are strong. the industry is slowing. they are not in good health. the u.s. companies have a better production discipline and capacity in the u.s. in a way, you look at the differences between the two sectors, the u.s. companies can stay resilient despite a downturn while the companies are going to suffer from the overcapacity which they built over the last years.

I would say that shareholders took a back seat in this PR. The priorities were:

1. Light a fire under HKHE.
2. Tell the world that Sarissa has the goods and is ready to talk.
. . (And oh yeah, the PDAC is in town the next week ...)
3. Give the shareholders a heads up.

" If they hav solid options it will move much faster than the previous deal.'

dmbao posted this little gem. I like how he snuck in the "If"

We didn't lose any time as due to the 300 000 $ we got the study done. The investment is much farther as anyone could dream.
  1. Substantial documentation from the past with very high quality, including an adit with all its material.
  2. Old data were proven to be correct by new drilling
  3. We know what is in the soil (Zone D)
  4. We believe what is in the soil (Zone SE)
  5. Old feasibility study from previous owners
  6. New study with huge scope ready to discuss and go further
  7. now several options for partnering instead of only one
  8. ST got additional claims
  9. JV with Joshua Gold
  10. Our cards are a dream!
What do we need more? I think perfect progress, only share price doesn't reflect yet as many don't know about SRSR, but it will come in these weeks.

If you don't invest now, in 1 month it will be too late to get such low price.

I think it doesn't matter...

They're about to have their heads handed to them...

On a platter...

IMO...

I agree. We are making progress despite what the bashholes say.

Progress is occurring.

But, it is not only that progress is occurring... both in the Shining Tree project, and in moving Nemegosenda forward... ?

Even ignoring their continual (and despicable) effort in character assassination re the CEO, and the borderline fraud occurring in the continual effort made in misrepresenting the facts re market function and capital formation in mining development ?

Their entire storyline is SO FAR out of whack with the obvious in the practical reality apparent in both of those... and then, the market reality in relation to the facts re SRSR's projects... ???

SRSR trading now for the "market low" value... of the Shining Tree project, only ?

LOL!!!

The additions in the lease portfolio at Shining Tree... still not being valued, even in that equation ? Even a rising tide in the PM's now... will mean Shining Tree alone will soon be worth more than SRSR trades for now... based on nothing other than the market for the PM's rising, again... and the market for junior mining explorers stocks following.

To say nothing either of what the "new" Shining Tree leases are about, or what the values hidden in the Shining Tree leases "might" be ? Not only is there upside in relation to the PM markets changing direction, how much more in what might be found with a bit of effort in exploration at Shining Tree ? But, thus far... pretty much all we know about is what the potential of the Gosslin intersection might be... and even that is being understated.

I think the new leases to the southwest are... important... and still have no clue what the new lease package to east of the original Shining Tree leases is about... Find it curious, even, that it seems none of the SRSR DD monsters have poked at that hard enough to figure it out... given it seems we know "where" those leases are, at least ?

The flagrant lying you see occurring... about "whether" SRSR can fund any exploration work at Shining Tree... and about "how" finance in mining exploration works, in general... is an set of arguments that they CANNOT win, only because it is based in flaming fictional BS...

And then, when you see SRSR actually DOING what junior explorers do... funding exploration through JV activity, and turning a profit doing it... and see that success... that proves the critics wrong... is dismissed as irrelvant ?

LOL!!! They're losing the argument... because facts in accomplishments and proof in performance trump BS...

I note that SRSR has made continual progress in additions to the Shining Tree package over the last year... and, I don't see any reason to expect that the management effort we've seen delivering steady progress over the last year... is going to change in 2012...

I think there WILL be changes occurring in 2012... and agree with others I've been chatting with recently that the change that does occur in the markets this year is likely to prove surprising... and, more to some than others.

Of course, they've made similar progress at Nemegosenda as Shining Tree, including firming up lease holdings, and, even though it has been roundly ignored by the market... expanding the lease holdings to include much of the periphery of the "doughnut" that the original claims didn't include...

Dissing the management for not taking the first low ball offer shoved in front of them... when there are more than a few others it may be more useful to consider ? I'm glad we have Scott negotiating for us... and not those bozos...

It clearly is the case that SRSR has focused on niobium values to the point of understating the issues in REE values... and, they may have understated other mineral values in the Chapleau area holdings as well... but, I appreciate and value their focus, and their low key approach to the effort, as they focus on getting the work done, while ignoring the noise in the marketplace, that intends to disrupt their effort...

Speaking of progress, Merle just provided these images, as evidence of the engineering work taking place. These are preliminary, but give you a visual idea of the kind of stuff coming out of the initial engineering work. Looks to me like they are well on their way to designing the plant! Way cool ...

These are actually interactive pdf files, and they are even cooler to play with, especially if you are an engineering type. I don't think there is a way for me to post an interactive pdf file here however. I did try using Google docs, but Google converts the file to its format and it ended up blank. If you really are interested, you can email Merle and he will provide them to you for a small fee. (Just kidding about the fee!)
