Just like I suspected, with the mild winter North America is generally having, Russia is getting significantly colder weather than normal ...

It is 17 C and overcast here in Lake Chapala, Mexico.

Well we are having our normal chamber of commerce winter weather in San Diego. A little cool though; in the low 60s at the beach but Sunny with just a hint of morning haze.

For all you people thinking about moving here; its really not like this all the time.

Here in CT we've had two days of snow, far apart, with the following day being warm enough to melt it off my driveway without plowing. Last year we had 62 inches by winter's end. Either we are going to get pounded in short order to make up for this, or someone else it getting that snow sent their way on top of whatever else they normally get-- like Switzerland.

Well, here in SW Missouri, we're about to 'pay for our sins' it seems. Had a mild December and January was one of the warmest on record ..... but starting Sunday they're calling for single digit temps, strong winds and snow/freezing rain .... Better head for the store and buy the usual items - Milk, bread and TP! LOL
