What sort of solution would you propose? Personally, I take it upon myself to indicate a revision, e.g.
Edit: Score now 21-7.
If after editing a post I see someone has already replied to it, I'll write another quick post to say "I edited my post".
Are you saying that's not good enough? That the onus should be on SI to indicate if a post is revised? The problem there is that I would bet 99% of all revised posts are because of typos you didn't realize you'd made, or incorrect syntax you failed to note, until you read them "live". Most posts are usually read >15 minutes after they were written, so even if a "revised" tag was attached it would be meaningless to most, not to mention most people, if asked, would reply "I corrected typos".
Or did I misinterpret your suggestion?
