Well it's closer to what I was trying to do... I am sure now that we are discussing it that your tech geeks will figure out how to make it work. I am patient I don't need a answer right away. :)

I believe he wants to *embed* a video, so you can play it within the message. I'm going to add an icon for that in the next version of the editor (along with enhanced image handling and table support)...should have it rolled out within a week....which in programmer's time is more like 2-3 weeks :)

I need to figure out if there is standard BBCode for it, or if I should just make something up like [youtube]VideoURLHere[/youtube]. Then it will play in an IFRAME.

On iHub, the tags they use are [ yt ] watch?v=9bvmlIuxL6E [ /yt ]

I think that will be a good feature to have.

Actually thats called a screencast. Taking video of your computer desktop and teaching or explaining what you are doing. Screencasting is getting very popular.

One good tool for screencasting is Jing:

Or if you are really into it, Camtasia:

Your reply should be in your OutBox.

If the box is checked, the message you are replying to will stay in your Inbox (otherwise it will move to your "trash"). The message you sent is in your outbox, regardless.

"trash" on SI really means "The last 100 incoming messages I have either responded to or deleted".
