Options unwinding was a factor this week. Many Apple (call) options holders could not exercise their positions, so they rolled out or exercised only part of the underlying shares. Down to 575 Puts are going to be exercised and that's almost where the stock is now AH.

Anyone observing a noticable uptick in their spam this week? I think there may be a massive new botnet of zombified, oblivious, ignorant Macs. Thats right, Apple's fixes haven't done sh*t.

"Security firm Dr. Web released new statistics Friday showing that the process of eliminating Flashback from Macs is proceeding far slower than expected: On Friday the security firm, which first spotted the Mac botnet earlier this month, released new data showing that 610,000 active infected machines were counted Wednesday and 566,000 were counted Thursday. That's a slim decrease from the peak of 650,000 to 700,000 machines infected with the malware when Apple released its cleanup tool for the trojan late last week. Earlier in the week, Symantec reported that only 140,000 machines remained infected, but admitted Friday that an error in its measurement caused it to underestimate the remaining infections, and it now agrees with Dr. Web's much more pessimistic numbers."

Welcome to planet earth, OS X. Your faith-based anti-virus system is totally awesome.

Yahoo. I made 59% on my investment today on LQMT. I sold everything yesterday, bought LQMT today, and made seven figures on my trade today. I am a stud.

Just kidding.

By the way, I do have a house bigger than 5000 sq ft., live in northern VA, and on over three wooded acres.

PS - I bought NOK a few weeks ago and took a bath on it percent wise. I sold today at a loss. First loss on a stock in 10 years.

Nokia appears to be a little more aggressive than you-know-who in giving people precisely what they want. To Verizon in how many months? White Lumia in how many weeks? This isn't a roll-out; its a downright assault. X-D

White Nokia Lumia 900 now in stores!
April 20, 2012 | By Surur

Nokia promised the white Nokia Lumia 900 on April 22nd if sales went well. It seems sales must have gone very well indeed, as MobilityDigest have posted this picture of a reader purchasing the clearly in-demand handset.

Given how quickly the Cyan handset sold out, if you have been waiting for the white handset before jumping I would suggest hurrying to the store now.

Didn't it take Apple almost a year to figure out how to make a white iPhone 4? They should hire some more engineers with all that money... <G>
