Thats funny, because I really don't see the Apple iPad having success for very long after Windows "Metro" hits. People don't want to compromise. They want both their mobile and productivity capabilties. The iPad is not for serious work, and it never will be. But Win 8 has both full mobile and destop experience. Best of both worlds.

The iPad is a good entertainment device, but most would rather not spend money on separate content creation and consumtion.

Enjoy the run! Its historic. As will be the crash that follows. Don't say you weren't warned.

I appreciate the sentiment, but the sales of Android (even much more so than Mac) for desktop/laptop use do not connect with the reality you describe. I love Android and would like to see it do better; it is indeed kicking arse in the cell phone OS department. On the desktop/laptop, that has been and continues to be a pipe-dream. In tablets... I think Android could gain some on Apple.

Apple's future will continue to be as a cell phone company, and its fortunes will rise and fall with how it does there.

Well I gave it a shot at getting a serious answer.

Maybe you ought to pull your head out of MS's ass and take a look at some of the productive applications the iPad is being put to. Let's see how Metro App development goes. Can MS build enough stores next to Apple's, pay enough Verizon and AT&T sales people to push Window's phones and pay enough devs to develop for MS to get back in the game?

You can go back to stroking your buddy and posting about the latest Nokia phone that's not selling now.

My GTC sell order at $600 just went through at the open (1 share). New iPad is now on order. Already regretting not getting the 64 GB.

Not too late to change. Might have to wait until tomorrow to cover the price of a 64 with one share though.

So much for 100% guarantees from Sly. Is a little accountability too much to ask from a troll?

"I 100% guarantee you that CRAPple will never see $600.... never never never... "

" The iLAG having LAG is 100% guaranteed."

I'll be the judge of that, hopefully, come Friday.
