But yeah, the miners are not acting like leaders here. They still look like they are captives to other forces.

Do not listen to or follow one of those guys. One of the guys on that list has NO CLUE what he is doing.

And which one would that be?

Me, of course.

I sold because I had nice gains. A few indicators were not what I wanted to see, but those signals were no where near strong enough for me to make a call that miners are at greater risk for down than up.

So please, completely discount my opinion as just that; an uninformed opinion and driven by personal greed to keep a bit of the gains from the week.

Actually, I'm out of virtually all of my other miner positions, and have been for a while. I do own a sh*tload of gold and silver futs.

Closed all short lots at 29.75 for a nice little gain.

Sold NSU down from 1/2 position to a 1/4 position at 5.80 (in the green).
Sold NGD down from 7/8 position to 3/4 position at 12.52 (in the green). Was trying to sell more, but only got a partial fill.

WIll likely sell another 1/8 NGD if we get some kind of a bounce today.

Miners look like crap with gold not really down much...

I have so many conflicting signals right now that I absolutely cannot trade this. At least four ETF's I track still have bull bias. Miner signals are all over the place. Some indicate all is well and a couple are screaming down.

As I do not have one good trading idea, I'll sit on cash for a day or three.
