Mind- boggling?
It's the status quo
Some areas are just keeping the warts under wraps a little longer.
Better tax base, less poverty, less blight; but their finances are still in dire straits.
Only thing mind-boggling is someone finding it mind-boggling and somehow isolated to one area or one party.

My god is Mel Watt stupid.

I'm going to run for clowngress. I just wonder if I can limbo that low.

And Bernanke WORKS for us, so this five minute crap is just a smokescreen. You can't get a good question, an answer, and a follow-up to ONE question addressed in five minutes.

By design this is a crock.

Z,

Not exactly. The Fed admits that the delegation of that responsibility is at the direction of Clowngress. So, we're splitting hairs here.

If Clowngress so chooses, any and all Fed activity can be subject to their control. Your statement reflects the current state, which is what my comment was getting at. Our Clowngress has the ability to change this and make the Fed accountable. As it stands right now, we have a circus with each act getting five minutes and most tricks of this complexity take longer than five minutes. Thus the show is less than satisfying.

Interesting comment in that piece. Says there is a rumor that the NY Fed is selling vol. Third time I've heard this now. Actually, it is the second time. The third thing I heard was a big, big player was selling the VIX like it was going to zero.

Yea. Can't be true.
