It's getting wacky.

9 out of 10 down days. We knew they would try to bake the data, but not all was good. And now Greece, again, for the 500th time?

She's gonna blow captain. Soon.

I would like to put this thread to good use, as I know there are many here with vast experience on both ends of the transaction.

If a party makes a written offer to buy a home, should a RE agent continue to show the home while the offer is being considered? Are they required to do so or bound by any agency rule or separate contract? Or is this strictly at the discretion of the agent with no fear or liability for failing to do so?

This involves an empty home as part of an estate.
in my experience, showings are still done in case the offer falls through, but the prospects are made aware of the possible sale. Minimally, I would think an agent would continue to take a name and number for the lead alone

Thanks, and all responses welcome and appreciated

They should absolutely continue to show it until a deal has been struck.

Of course the RE agent continues to show the home while the offer is being considered.

This agent is conspiring with the crooked NJ judge to sell the home well below market value to a third party, and has effectively taken it off of the market, despite the matter being in court.

Pay the appraised value or something close to it.

the home should be shown until a deal closes escrow or in this case an accepted offer is confirmed by the court. In my State, the bidding can be reopened at the court confirmation hearing.
