Their use is most definitely replacing a significant fraction of the use of desktops and laptops: Web browsing, social media, videos.

The bigger shock(well it would be shocking if not for your track record) is that you seem oblivious to this:


However, ultrabooks are a trend and therefore Taiwan-based vendors plan to offer slim models by adopting cheaper components which are not the same as those used in ultrabooks.
