After the first answer being a canned response that didn't answer my question, I did correspond with an actual human. My problem was quickly solved and I was given a proper credit for the video, which was fixed.
As you know, my initial problem was never solved. I never could download Lion. My second problem was solved. The charge they said they never applied but did, got refunded. My continuing conversation with Lee is about the inability to download Lion. He keeps urging me to contact blabla, I keep telling him he should do that and get back to me with a solution. That's the Apple Care way. This ping pong of ours has been going on for a cycle of four emails. Thus far, no score. But I have patience and hope to win. :-)

Does anyone know a way, within Lion, to password files and/or folders without using third party software?

[Mac Tips] How To Password Protect Folders in Mac OS X Lion

[Mac Tips] Lesson 1:To password protect folder in Mac OS Lion, follow the steps below

Go to Finder -> Application-> Utilities -> Disk Utility
File -> New -> Blank Disk Image -> type in a name for the image at “Save As”

Choose “128-bit AES encryption (recommended)” at the “Encryption” field and click “Create” button

Disk Utility will prompt you to set a password, just type in your password and click “OK”

Disk Utility will create a .dmg disk image with password protection. Once done you can double click on the new .dmg file then key in the password. The file will open as a drive, and now you can start dragging your files and folders into the image.

My pleasure, always!

Just for kicks - in case anyone unwarranted gets ahold of my toys - when the prompt type in a name for the image at “Save As” came up, I named it "Reformat Hard Drive." That should give them pause. ;-)))

Great deals on hackintoshes these days, on Craigslist, I find. Check your local listings. In my area, there is a gem available, right now. If I needed it, I'd grab it:

desktop pc running windows 7 & osx lion

What's really odd is that I seldom see anything on Craigslist around here when searching for the term "hackintosh." I'm not sure why that is. I live near Seattle, so there are plenty of computers for sale in this area.

I briefly considered buying a Hack before I came to my senses and purchased my current iMac. :-)

I'm sorry to read that. My againg $350 hack gleefully runs circles around the cheapest refurbished iMac 21.5-inch 2.7GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5.

You could have done better for the money, methinks. ;-)

Anyway, soon as that Lion on a stick comes tomorrow, my beast is going to become a dual booter. Its 750GB drive will remain Snow Leopard and its 1T drive will become Lion.

Gonna be fun! :-)))

P.S. What I really love about the hack-in-a-box is being able to replace everything, at the drop of a nickel. Motherboard, graphics card, RAM, HD, ports, whatever. Minimum cost, maximum bang/buck, each time around.

Can't beat modular bang/buck wise, in my book, when it comes to desktops. Mac and PC.
