GZ,

The S&Ps are trading right now at your sell signal for tomorrow. Are you still waiting until tomorrow before getting short?

Yes, I'm waiting, I need a sell signal triggered, as of now this is still just a pull back in an up trend... I should have taken a short yesterday, but I'm just going to wait... I prefer to be safer than to jump the gun despite what appears to be an "obvious" short... frankly, I might try a short position on any rally today, but I do need an official signal before I feel comfortable...

Okay, that did it, I just took a light short position just to hold my interest, I'll hold unless the market begins to scream higher... this will definitely stop the selling... LOL!!!

The intriguing thing about the pending sell signal is that it could be the "sell in May" come early and be a real doozy of a decline... who really knows...

GZ,

How long ago did you develop your model? Have you made any changes to it after you developed it or have you been using the same model since you developed it? It is amazing how the model predicts the signals and VPs with such accuracy. Einstein had his theory of relativity to explain the relationship of time and space, but I am more impressed with the GZ model which explains the relationship between time and price. Thanks for sharing.

It took many years to develop my model, but when I completed the final design I have not made any changes in it at all, this was about 10 years ago... nothing is perfect, but I think this is as close to perfection as one can get in timing what seems at first glance to be a randomly moving market... I'm fully convinced that the natural physical laws that govern ALL motion includes price motion, provided you consider price just another object in time/space without the influence of gravity... also, the model is 3 dimensional, so when we look at a chart, it's like looking at a map... the map may be flat, but we know the earth is curved as all space is curved, so therefore we need to look at the charts in a 3 dimensional model that treats the charts as a sphere... I guess it really is sort of complicated, I've back tested it all the way back to 1982 on the daily charts, it times the market in every kind of market under any and all conditions...

Have you tuned the signals to a time horizon of a trend or move, i.e. days, weeks, etc?

Sure, if I enter the weekly or hourly prices instead of the daily it works as well, just that the daily is the most comfortable for me...

IMO, even if the sell off continues, it will be short lived and subject to quick reversal. The fundamentals do not support an extended decline.

That's the prevailing thought these days, and it could very well be, I have no clue, I just follow my model, it's a whole lot smarter than I am...
