from flush handle of a stock to....

.. obsolesence of graphite soon, and ten to twenty years out running out of resources like we are looking at some imminent armageddon.

Methinks you like the soapbox. I am trying to talk about a stock and you are offering the hithchiker's guide to the universe.

You've worn me out.

Rocket just a few thoughts regarding SVA. It probably is a good buy at current levels.

1. I agree that the "home run" potential for this stock would require one to hold for at least 3 years. The big question resolves around getting the right partner to finance all of the needed clinical trials. .No way Sernova can do it alone. That is a fact.=

2. Stock should move higher with news from Health Canada approval and the beginning of human clinical trials. Afterward, I wouldn't expect any news for at least 6 months until preliminary data is received regarding the safety and efficacy of this clinical trial.

3. The animal trial lengths involving the "cell pouch" were only 6 months. It is unclear how long these islet cells will survive beyond 6 months. It will be interesting to see if this technology will allow the islet cells to survive for the 3 year study. Note that the islet cells "Edmonton Protocol" did not last. These were "implanted" into the portal vein.

4. I like the principal investigator for this human clinical trial. That is key to the study.

5. The study design is not published yet. I am curious about the efficacy aspect of the trial. I am hopeful that they will be able to test their hypothesis that the cell pouch will require less islet cells to get similar results as compared to the Edmonton Protocol. Sernova claims that they only need 10-25%. That is amazing if proven true.

6. I got interested in this stock 5 years ago because of their Sertolin technology. Of course, this will not be part of these clinical trials. If the Cell Pouch actually works in the human trials than I cannot wait for them to try this Sertolin technology. This will allow them to transplant the islet cells into the Cell Pouch along with the Sertoli cells to form a immunological barrier such that the patient will not need to take the dangerous immunosuppressive therapy. This is years away.

GLTA.

BTW, thanks for bringing SVA back to my attention. I just reviewed my trades from 2007. I bought the stock at $0.50 in January and sold it in February from $0.75-$1.00. They are so more advanced now and the stock is only at $0.23. Let's see what happens tomorrow.
