Given Brinker's QQQQ disaster, his failure to see the current bear-market and the continued suggestion to throw good money after money gone bad, it is not really necessary to downplay the positive or overemphasize the negative.

The guy went to 65% cash at the height of a major bubble...

And also threw back in a lot of that cash at a disaster called QQQQ, which is still down some 60%, almost eight YEARS later.

<<If so, what the heck was he doing staying in there for AN ADDITIONAL 30% decline?????>>

--Duh! He didn't know it was going to decline an additional 30%.

Well, he is not stupid in one sense - his rag sells for $185 a year and even if you assume there are only 50,000 fools subscribing to it, he grosses about $9 million a year. He doesn't need to do anything more than picking his nose to see where the market is going, and then all he has to do is to pay for a small office room, a few people to answer the phones and mail the envelopes etc., plus the cost of maintaining a few computers, broadband connections, a small xerox machine, utilities etc. He could easily net $8.5 million a year. So.... no, he is not really stupid in that sense.

<<Octavian,

Wurkinstiff, like you, can say whatever he wants...he, unlike you, is on topic.

There is only one person walking close to the line of getting "kicked off," and you see him in the mirror.>>

--Honeybee, that's exactly what I just said!!! I told wurkinstiff he was safe. Duh!

It is only me and, presumably, math, who are "close to the line."

--Right. The question then is, why do you do it?

Are you trying to get me kicked off? -:)

Math is always on topic. You usually are too. Just please remember that I am not the topic here.

Octavian,

Okay, then let's drop the subject. I do admit to enjoying your Brinker poetry. 8~)
