What I said was that (from late '60s on, but most especially in the decade of the '70s) the entrance of WOMEN into the American workforce helped to stabilize/maintain the average real wages that families were bringing... a counter-balance to the real wage compression that was afflicting male wage-earners at the time. Without (first) wage earners working longer hours (always the first reaction to rising prices and stagnant real incomes), and (second) the wives entering the American work force in massive numbers, real take-home income for American families would have suffered major declines.

And what about those who deny the obvious, that there are black Italians? You always run and hide from that question... LOL!!! What do you think of those who deny the obvious FACT that there are more than one million black Italians living in Italy today, and yet there are bigots and racists who not only refuse to acknowledge this fact but they also refuse to address the issue after being exposed for the bigot, fraud, and racist they really are?
