"...after multiple unsuccessful wells..."

MARKET TALK: Goldman Gets Bullish On Cobalt's Angola Results

Last Update: 12/21/2011 9:26:27 AM

9:26 (Dow Jones) Goldman Sachs adds Cobalt International Energy
(CIE) to its
"Americas Buy" list with a $21 price target, up from $14, following disclosure of
"very encouraging" results at its Cameia-1 exploration well in Angola. "CIE's
commentary represents a material positive, both for the Cameia resource and
because we believe it de-risks CIE's other Angola pre-salt prospects," firm says.
Production test results are expected in the next 3-5 weeks, and Angolan success
will likely raise confidence in CIE's Gulf of Mexico resource potential after
multiple unsuccessful wells there, Goldman says.
CIE has surged 42% in past
month, climbs 8.2% to $14.99 premarket. (ian.thomson@dowjones.com)

*and a day high of $15.60
It was pushed down from $11.19 to $8.77 in not so many trading days before the
announcement

Could be some sort of comparison here with HDY...should HDY manage to get
a hole drilled and find some oil...the first hole would be nice.

Best,
S.

Interesting...Where did I see this before>> Ray Leonard, Hyperdynamics President and CEO, commented, "Although these repairs have delayed the Sabu-1,
they are necessary for the safe and efficient completion of the well.
We look forward to the results of our first exploration well in the
New Year."

Oh, yeah, here>>>

"We look forward to providing a safe and efficient operation with the start up of the Jasper Explorer.” Mr Koenders.

My First post to S.I.--might as well be on the HDY board seeing as how I've been a shareholder for several years-

While the probability for having Ray Leonard and team proving an oil discovery on their first attempt is less than 33%,I'm hoping we get lucky and prove up commercial oil on Tupi#1-

January 2012 could go down in HDY history as the month we proved our first oil discovery-
