i am 70 navigator. The creator of the documentary will die heartbroken, his optimistic idealism will be but flat-dog in the road, just another road kill.(i will look deeper into this, but these movements have come and gone for centuries.-- sorry, but i am committed to being myself-- i hate the word collective: We are learning Ants Behavior is run by an ALGORITHM--i don't want to be in an algorithm--Ant Colony's are the ULTIMATE collective:(
i am sorry, but my beliefs we are living in a NON-BENIGN ILLUSION, i myself was of those innocent idealist, then realized we are all just chasing a carrot on a stick, the idealist will always lose:ALWAYS!
When i now say i do NOT believe in this world, i mean it absolutely.
The whole point of revealing ALL THE UNIVERSE Humanity thinks is, is ONLY 4 % of what actually is---the ast sweeping enlightment of man dream is ONLY the dream of the rationl and enlightened.
i share none of the optimism, i see it as ut a drug one needs to get up each morning and plug on.
i was a major activist 60s into 70s--Navigator, what has happened since is perfectly sung by Robbie Robertson in this song that is only a year old---Robbie Robertson being the Genius of the members of THE BAND.
This a BRILLIANT Song by a saintly wise enlightened man facing the hard reality--that take GUTS. Listen carefully, especially, that on individual level one musy have there HEART beat in the right direction---but the crowd will ALWAYS move about in chaotic ignorance

i quote Chris Hedges, who believes progress is a DELUSION of man. ""Rebellion--which is different from revolution BECAUSE it is perpetual alienation from POWER rather than The Replacement of One POWER System with another-- this should be are NATURAL STATE. And faith , for me, rebellion is always worth it even if the outward signs point to our lives and struggles seeming but penultimate failures---------------------------------"
i wrote this twitter comment to Robbie's song "ItWasThe60sAndHopeAlive/ButEvilOverAndUnder FoughtBack&CorruptedDestroyed/TheSpiritOf67ProvedFlowersOnlyGetUsed/TheWay?GetHeartToBeatInRightDirection--that is the individuals only way, the collective will always be herd---why is Fox news so popular--face it, it is because the majority WANT to watch it"
i stand by this quote of mine--- but i suspect people don't get it:( "The belief that through the ages there has been a world conquest conspiracy theory gives people but an excuse for not facing the world is a sick chaos where the lust for power by divergent self-interest power groups by RANDOM collisions blend into a homogenization of evil that ends up ruling the world .Max90"
What i believe in be a lot of things that ARE not of the OVERALL COLLECTIVE human race, for one HummingBirds!
i do believe in world's in other dimensions---

i am 70 navigator.

yeah, i'm right behind you...65 this year.

The creator of the documentary will die heartbroken, his optimistic idealism will be but flat-dog in the road, just another road kill.

did you watch the whole 93 minutes? it was long...i kinda dozed...but wanted to get the whole picture...still not sure i did, but i tried.

i never saw optimism so much as ... what? an effort to explain things that have always been unexplainable...but the end is the same regardless.

i am sorry, but my beliefs we are living in a NON-BENIGN ILLUSION

it's easier for me to accept that i am creating my own reality, and therefore responsible for it. a non-benign illusion? surely it's some kind of illusion, but non-benign? i think it just is. neither benign or non-benign.

i liked the point made in the film that it is our mind and our ego that put labels on experiences and events such as good or bad, when in reality, they just are...for me, this squares with what i see in the universe. someone once made the point that every society sets its own rules and what is illegal and abhorrent in one place (for ex: cannibalism), is a sacred rite in another.

Like the sun rising out of the sea
It's how you embrace the mystery

love robbie robertson's music...did you get to the point they made in the film that we "feed" on the sun?

What i believe in be a lot of things that ARE not of the OVERALL COLLECTIVE human race, for one HummingBirds!
i do believe in world's in other dimensions---

i missed the collective aspect, it is born of the belief that we are ultimately all one? that aspect is an either/or for me. how i see myself and the world around me originates with my own view (i think)...it's not a deal-breaker for me.

it's easy for me to accept that we come here to learn and experience and it's easy for me to pick through different ideas, keep what i like and discard the rest. i'd have to watch the film again, as i'm sure i missed quite a bit...but over-all i liked the way it stretched my perspective.

Let me go a bit further, o.k.--don't run away-- i have via my own experience found you can't lose fear and gain a peaceful wisdom until you cease to view this planet as something special.
i have stted this topic of THE NEW COSMOLOG Yis, without doubt, the Numero Uno topic in the world, but it seems many beings are in fear of new , explosive, rippig apart knowledge--this topic is significantly more explosive than Darwin/Russell Wallace'es presenting The Theory of Evolution.
i have a secret blog site, which i am closing down, to create my own blog site--i have 908 subcripers to that site---but it's limits are now obstructive-i do not reveal the site as it includes just too much about me and my past.
But here is a sample, my last response to people that just don't get it.
i titled how many planets exist that are of are type. (i edit much)
Within the first 10 planets we have isolated, one definitely has the parameters to develop life, and we are ONLY talking the FINITE visible universe of elemental mass, that therefore all these planets with evolution are doomed to extinction.
Cosmological statisticians have calculated that if ONLY one in one hundred planets, through RANDOM chance of fitting into a special slot, that means there are in our one meagre Galaxy confined to the doomed elemental mass, there are one billion planets in our evolution commencing parameters---man once pounded his chest and howled it was the center of the universe and all things rotated around us--- when Monk Giordono Bruno suggested there were other planets with life the Vatican BURNED him at the stake.
i found by inserting just bits the AWESOME implications of the New Cosmology, i sensed in the overall a vast yawn or "we don't like TO THINK about matters like that!!" This the nnate inbred, possibly genetic governor that causes most people to say " i don't want to think about these things"
So when i state you are living in a lowest level of the universe , and in this one meager galaxy, there our possibly one billion in your category---your ego flair.
The highest realm by reaching deep into the back of my mind, i would say it is a non-elemental and vibrant paradise, and eternal.
Vitl to understand: Elemental Mass can NOT travel into space except ridiculously short distances, and wearing a body sock to poop and piddle--how pathetically COMIC!.
Now to get really hated i tell Roswell believers have the brains of a pea. Area 51 believers have the brains of a pea, when they connect up with Extraterresterials(why" Because they are describing elemental mass vehicles--just for a start) and on and on.
Rule number one, think WITHOUT fear as fear is the worst enemy of finding truth.

..
What makes a hummingbird less significant than Man? i have absolutely no reason to do so---humanity is a species OBSESED WITH ITSELF----why?

<< surely it's some kind of illusion, but non-benign? >. i pay keen attention to all pain suffering and misery in this world---there is rabbit now in horror as fax cuts into his body---this is a benign illusion? i can't fathom people that can't empathically realize this planet is scream every 1trillionth of a second.
Now you tell me why this is benign???
<<i liked the point made in the film that it is our mind and our ego that put labels on experiences and events such as good or bad, when in reality, they just are...for me, this squares with what i see in the universe. someone once made the point that every society sets its own rules and what is illegal and abhorrent in one place (for ex: cannibalism), is a sacred rite in another.>> i am sorry , but i think that belief of his is appallingly---it is like terminal hippies that said, i don't hate Hitler, it was his bag man-- it's just way things are.
i will try to watch the 97 minutes, but i likely will go into Johnny Lydon towards the guy, regards what i see and he sees.
i better show this so you know i did in fact deal with the complacent dead headed in this exact manner.
My fir wife said "heis a rebel", is why she loved me.
i am am 70, and i still am a rebel--i can get firey--- like saying to a Rush L "ditto head" Saying "Rush Limbaugh is a genuinely evil man, absolute scum, a man with no fucking soul, a cancer: a genuine G-d would squash him like a bug---he is just a part of this ugly farce, and you ditto heads are no better." So a person who says well 'that is just the way things are accept it"---we are in absolute oppostion to each other.

This song by Robbie is his MOST recent--so it need be viewed as his view of the world now--when he says "i have NEVER seen anything like this'--he is meaning NOW, right now, and the once young night has turning pitch black.
Why? Because he is profoundly spiritual, he has standards.
But your example about cannibals happens to be right (canibalism existed in all skin shdes by the way--it was practiced in Europe for instance, as recently as the 13th century(during famine--poor people would sell their children to the butcher who's meat was then bought by the rich--that was evil, as opposed Ritual Cannibalism of the tribes that had existence over most the the earth, at one time or another)---but i could right an essay about that--as goes back to an verbal argument Darwin and Wallace had. Wallace, held that he found the cannibals, in significant wayys BETTER than modern man---Wallace was right and Darwin wrong, and Wallace was fiercely anti-racist(and also a socialist--he lived to 92--at least when he died it FRONT PAGE news=="Russell Foster Wallace, dead at 92"--headline in London Times) and Darwin a RANK racist--it is one histories bad events, that Russell Wallace didn't really to want fame---one the horrors of history, maybe 1 in a thousand people know Russell Wallace , a 1 in 2 know the name Darwin---a man who Darwin admitted , if he was such noble a being, Wallace could have laid sole claim for what is now known ONLY as Darwin's Theory of Evolution.
i have just run out of time, btw, do you take your handle from the movie "Navigator"? i left many many many points uaddressed, we are only debating what has been debated since at least the Greeks(VBG:) have a good night Max p.s. 65 you are, yikes.
Is they movie maker out to get a lot of followers, and thus get RICH? Would John Lennon see him as just another Guru going after BUCKS?

it's that ego/mind thing, max...that is the root of it.

if we choose to be born and if the point of it is to experience and learn, regardless of the consequences, because, after all, what is a life but a really short span of time...then part of the learning would have to be the part where you learn that you are equal to a hummingbird in the stature of the natural world.

as i reflect on our conversation, it occurs to me that you see the proposal that we are from one source to mean that we are part of a hive or a "collective."

i've thought about that and i will argue that there is more than one interpretation to the proposal that since we are from one conscious source, we are part of a hive.

i believe it's possible to come from a single source, maintain your own unique life/soul/preferences and still share the human experience with others.

for example, i have a brother. he is male, i am female, he watches faux news, i don't watch tv, but when we stand at our mother's grave (he wants to put her in a "assisted living" facility, i say never!), i wager we'll be sharing a sense of loss.

to take it a step further, in 1984 i went to a rock concert at a football stadium with 85,000 other people. during that concert, as i looked at the people around me (the cops were dancing...the soft drink vendors were standing on their counters dancing...everyone was on their feet dancing), i shared a emotional experience with those people. when the show was over, we all went our way, but we shared that moment.

My only barriers on variant sexuality, be pedophilia. predatory sexual psychopaths(rapist, for example) and sadism and abuse of children--we must have an inner light to recognize that which actually be evil and realize much else we just dump into the ocean of greyness.
But i will say i genuinely don't have human-centric inner being--as i tell people i have a lot of Cat in me and to little dog--i have always tried to balance those two--but never can.
i feel about Cats and animals on a level equal to Roy Horn, a person i admire immensely--and admire how well he has handled his own personal tragedy, and how hard he fought and succeeded in saving the life of the tiger that mauled him. Sigmund is quite a fellow too, and , in honesty, has admitted he was always jealous of Roy's ability to CONNECT with animals.

Really need go eat now and fadeaway, i amliving life of solitary, now, as my wife had to relocate back to Philadelphia due to jealth matters--it would have to expesive for both to make the move--i take up a huge amount of space---rents being what they are, i would have to pay 4,000 dollars a month if i moved also--a can't do matter:(
So i am living in solitude for the first time in my life--0ne year now---i am learning to use the silence to think ever more deeply--Gawd Forbid!(LOL!)

i have scanned and bookmarked. But advise i am a rigid follower of the scientific discipline(by this i MUST!!! approach all scientific thinking INCLUDING MY OWN with mucho Skepticism--and i stress! "including my OWN thinking" i am a fierce independent thinker and am very very hard to impress.
But he is ethusiastic enough and committed enough on Expando Theory and Plasma Core to give time to him
i have ways of evaluating, and that takes time. A will give an opinion when ready.
To S.A. and this Collins fellow, i respect you have committed yourself to their being a massive solar cataclysm this year.
Mainstream science is themselves committed to fact that it is INEVITABLE of solar cataclysm, because we have in the pre massive dependent grid system age had such solar events that would INDEED short circuit the word, and melt generators etc---- but they can go so far, looking back on written reports of huge aureo borealis events beyond any we have had since world surrendered its fate totally to computers and a vast vast global grid systems--so a solar cataclysm on scale of a catastrophic destruction of the internet and to have our massive grid so utterly damaqed, the world would collapse into chaos and ruin--no telephones, no tv on and on and----the world couldn't even handle one week. Humans have made themselves as the most vulnerable animal on this planet.
Remember the mile long asteroid that hit the Yucatan Peninsula 68 million years ago, led directly not only to extinction of dinosaurs, but as much as 95% of all species of animals on the earth dirt surface. One of which was a shrew like mammal that is likely our relative--point being Human's exist ONLY because something preceded it.

This is accepted by mainstream scientist that specialize in this---but the gloomiest amongst them, says it will likely occur withing 100 years, and that includes by tomorrow and so on--but within 100 years.
!! S.A. dammit i will now have to get off my procrastinator and go at your paper. !!(VBG:)

But if we have a solar cataclysm quite soon, we will know HOW it occurred by what happens.

hey max, this is cool...did you see this?

This extraordinary machine was flying at velocities too high to be man-made. Scientists have estimated the speed, depending on the size of the object, to be at least 4000 - 6000 mph. Humans inside this object could not survive. And, somehow, it made no sonic boom, a noise similar to thunder which occurs whenever something exceeds the speed of sound (750 mph at sea level).

Astronomer Luis Barrera from the Metropolitan University of Sciences in Chile, who has an asteroid named after him, was one of eight highly skeptical scientists who analyzed the footage. He was able to rule out a meteoroid, pieces of meteors or comets, space junk, a bird or an airplane.

"The object performed a risky flight maneuver in front of the Halcones from W-E-W, at low altitude and high speed," Barrera concluded. "It had intentional movements. It moved east with 25 degrees inclination, which is the same angle of spacecraft when entering the atmosphere."
