TIE, which is #7 on their list has nothing to do with rare earths. They are a ti processor. Their presence makes me wonder about how much dd/expertise the folks who run this thing bring to the table.

so I own Alkane, which looks to be one of the few that may actually be able to mine Heavy REE's within 2 years, and the whole damn sector explodes upwards today except Alkane.

Wasn't there a cartoon character (Charlie Brown character?) who had a cloud hanging over his head?

Here is what I'm wondering today. Invest in "sexy" or in something based on reality.

From what I gather, there are just a few legit REE plays out there that could be up and running within the next 2 years. Molycorp, Lynas and last Alkane - maybe another one I'm missing.

But sometimes sexy is where the money is to be made. Some of these REE plays have supposed awesome resources (AVL?), but are nowhere near production within the next few years. Who knows what the market for REE will be 4 or 5 years from now.
