The company is undergoing a strategic review with an outside consultant to plan their next approach. Presumably, this means either a negotiated sale, an exclusive partnership, or something like that. I'd still like to see them go it alone and succeed!

Regardless, I think the 10K shares I recently added via the pink sheets at US$0.65 - US$0.69 were a real bargain!

Also see AZDDF discussion board. Not active now, but there are a few older posts there. Enova Systems has a discussion board, too. Look up ENVA.

A nice 30% pop today with the Ford partnership news. I'm continuing to hold, as the company is now transitioning from development agreements to commercial production, so profits should become a reality over the next few years, if they're not bought out first.

Competitor Enova changed symbol to ENA and changed exchanges. Nothing new on that front; their drives systems are still under evaluation by multiple companies. I expect Hyundai to announce commercial availability of hybrids using the Enova drives for 2007 or 2008. That should be good for a pop.

I bookmarked this, though I'm not sure exactly why. Knowing nothing about biotech hasn't hurt too much, but I really don't want to go through the equivalent of 2001-2002 in hybrids. I'll just watch a while if that's OK.

Oops.

Subject 56044

Is a board made previously under the US symbol for Azure, AZDDF. Not a lot of action there, either.

The company just raised capital with a secondary offering, but very unfavorably with respect to current stockholders since it was done at 0.85 Canadian. Let's hope this was the last time until they establish a strategic partner, start selling their units in quantity or until they're bought out.

Azure's technology saves 30-50% on fuel costs for commercial vehicles, so if priced properly and if reliable, this has the potential to be less expensive than other options, as well as offering a strategy to limit the reliance on importation of petroleum products from the several unstable regions of the world.

OK, folks.

It's been 1 1/2 years since my last post and there have been a few press releases, MOUs, test drives but no big money deals.

With gas above $4.00/gallon in many parts of the US, the value of a hybrid drive should be obvious now to everyone and customers lining up.

Enova Systems (ENA) just signed the sort of deal we should expect to see Azure sign before the year is out.

I continue to hold my small pile of shares of both companies, which has grown in number but not value as I've doubled down a couple of times. The reasons I bought in the first place haven't changed.
