Today, opinions are like ass&^*(%, everyone has one. The reason I use the Master as my moniker is because my Dad was born 91 yrs ago and the term "Master" literally meant just that. wether you were a master craftsman, a Master sargent, a master Violinist, it meant that you had reached an unparalleled level of experience and knowledge and prestige in your profession that others showed deference to you. thats the problem with america today, people know a little about a lot, but not everything there is about a certain subject. I believe the cure to what ails america is to get back to being "Masters" of our chosen professions. We've all met them and usually walk away with a sense of appreciation that someone could dedicate themselves so thoroughly to their profession that you'll actually "Pay Up" for their services, they become indispensable. Thats what we need today and it doesn't mean everyone has to be Dr's, or Lawyers, or Finance guy's. If you know your subject matter better than 99% of your competition, you become "THE Master" of your own destiny. You can be a resturanture, a butcher, a mechanic, a teacher, whatever you choose. KNOWLEDGE breeds CONFIDENCE breeds CONVICTION breeds SUCCESS. If you notice I ignore NTTG 99.9 % of the time, I know his type through and through. thats why I ask him for position size, you going to let a guy who played 5th grade football coach an NFL team, not likely. I've rambled too much. |
