"Nice company"
"solid names on their boards"...
"Why can't PVCT get funding from sources like these...or the NIH...or NSF..or big pharma?"

Why Mr Anderson?
Why?

I think this is the song you really wanted to post, the PVCT anthem

One thing that fascinates me about the never ending battle between the Good Guys on the board (TM, JM, et al.) and the Bad Guy (you know who) is that everybody seems to act (post) as if this situation doesn't exist anywhere else. Now I'd guess that over the years I've been an active poster or an active lurker (read the boards daily, rarely post) on more than two dozen stock message boards. And with only 1/2 of one exception, every one of those boards has had one incessant compulsive Bad Guy. All these Bad Guys have not shared the same personality. Some have been downright nasty, some occasionally provide interesting and/or useful information and some, like NTTG, I see sitting at the computer smiling as he transmits what he believes is a zinger, because he must know that his posts are as annoying as a swarm of gnats to the Good Guys here and he gets a big kick out of that. Why give him that pleasure? Why don't you just ignore him? Do you think he's convincing any poster here of his views by his non-stop negativity, Everyone knows what he's going to say. Why get so upset when all that does is give him incentive to do it again?

My point, after all this blather, is that this situation exists everywhere on these message boards. If NTTG annoys the hell out of you, use the ignore button. Don't let him get his jollies out of getting you all wound up. Because that's why he posts here.

OMG...don't leave PVCT investor out of your analysis... his/her blog posts have become quite creative...graphs and charts of data that he/she knows are incomplete, but what the heck...much of the tripe winds up right back here...without edit or thought. If you had to give an award to anyone...PVCT investor would get my vote.

Funny...when The Masters predictions are so far off the mark, are you sure you have the right color hats on the right folks?

Ah yes, NTTG. You've nailed down my underlying point. What makes the Bad Guy so fascinating is this: Jack's post of a while back (#11152) contains an essential truth. Folks lurk or post on boards of stocks they own or are interested in. If they own the stock, they are naturally optimistic. That doesn't necessarily mean they are blind to faults or close their eyes and ears to negatives. And I'm active on a number of boards where there are lots of "critics", but they are neither compulsive posters nor (almost) exclusively negative. Everyone here knows what you think of PVCT. Why constantly hammer away at it? Why do you spend so much time slamming a company you have little or no respect for and, for the most part, have no ownership interest in the stock? Do you think you are performing a public service here? Even though you know you're annoying so many readers? Why do you really care about what PVCT Investor says or how wrong TM's predictions have been? Ahh but you're not alone. There is, as I pointed out in my prior post, somebody like you on just about every message board. And, while I'll admit that you've been more useful to me than most Bad Guys I've come across, you lose my respect with the incessant negative posting. You're just another Bad Guy.

Actually, quite a few of my posts deal with other companies making progress in MM or psoriasis; and questions about how to compare value propositions. Other posts have, at times, acknowledged positive points that PVCT might be bringing to the table. Those who focus on one point of view probably do get frustrated by my posts...but their frustration is not of my making.....and you 'respect' is not what I am looking for.

BTW...when I own PVCT I am not optimistic about the company...just optimistic about the SP cycles. Jack, The Master, PVCT investor, yourself, and the other longs personalized their investment decisions in PVCT some time ago, and have been sensitive about other points of view ever since. The inevitable emotional defense strategy is to portray good guy and bad guy stereotypes; typical human behavior for sure...but a fatal investment strategy.

never fall in love with a stock
