One thing that fascinates me about the never ending battle between the Good Guys on the board (TM, JM, et al.) and the Bad Guy (you know who) is that everybody seems to act (post) as if this situation doesn't exist anywhere else. Now I'd guess that over the years I've been an active poster or an active lurker (read the boards daily, rarely post) on more than two dozen stock message boards. And with only 1/2 of one exception, every one of those boards has had one incessant compulsive Bad Guy. All these Bad Guys have not shared the same personality. Some have been downright nasty, some occasionally provide interesting and/or useful information and some, like NTTG, I see sitting at the computer smiling as he transmits what he believes is a zinger, because he must know that his posts are as annoying as a swarm of gnats to the Good Guys here and he gets a big kick out of that. Why give him that pleasure? Why don't you just ignore him? Do you think he's convincing any poster here of his views by his non-stop negativity, Everyone knows what he's going to say. Why get so upset when all that does is give him incentive to do it again?
My point, after all this blather, is that this situation exists everywhere on these message boards. If NTTG annoys the hell out of you, use the ignore button. Don't let him get his jollies out of getting you all wound up. Because that's why he posts here. |
