I was watching too but missed the first part of the range breakout(the kids wanted ice cream), still got a few points out of it. I think all the excitement is done for now.
BTW thanks for Congressman DeFazio's phone number, I will be sure to call tomorrow.

Out ES 777.00-- that's enough.
Good trading tomorrow, all. Looks like another action packed week ahead.

Excellent trade, Ron. I had an excellent last week, but it took all week to come close to the gain you just got. Looking for another good week.

Ken, sometimes you get a good trade from just 'being there'. Anyway the Friday action got me interested in opening up the charts early last evening. We'll see what the week brings. Indexes around major support, Dow even fell through, a little. Toss a coin :)

Since switching to the ES earlier this month, my "trading luck" has taken a dramatic turn for the better. The last two weeks have been excellent. I've increased my size this week. After going over my notes this weekend, I will probably increase again next week.
Weather around here looking to be in the low 70's most of next week. That will make hanging around the computer much harder. I'm ready to get outside...

Glad the ES is working out for you Ken. I have been trading both the ES and the NQ. Some of the financial ETFs have been big intraday movers lately too, FAS and FAZ some major volatility and big volume increases since they launched in November. They move almost like the eminis-- can be fast.

I think I'd better take a look at those ETFs for my IRA. I don't have a lot of money there, but what I do have is just sitting in cash. I'll pull up those charts today and take a look. Thanks for the idea.

does anyone have any recco for a charting platform that will support pitchforks?
waaaaaaay back in time I used to trade a fair amount but got lazy and quit ...
gonna have a couple of granddaughter additions (twin girls) and whilst I will turn into a malenanny again I will be a nine hour drive away from my home for a few weeks at a time so I'm contemplating starting some day trading
I'm addicted to using forks .... have been for over fifty years ... and seeing as how this is the only active emini thread on SI I figured I'd ask here first
thanks
Nemer
