I never engaged Neocon in a conversation, nor read him when he was alive except by accident. However, I see from many of the posts about him afterward, that given that he posted under what many would consider an inflammatory handle, that he garnered respect from both sides of the political debate. I can see why he's both missed and honored.

Neocon was a hallmark of what I expect people to be. I've never before or since met anyone that was like him.
