I think Rarebird will be proven right in the ST, but maybe wrong in the IT if he doesn't change his tune. However, the nice thing about being an active trader and being flexible in your mindset is that you can always change your ST thinking to get the IT right. I'm really not married to any scenarios here. Taking it day by day. If gold pulls back to the 1050 as I think is very possible I'll probably add another 10-20% to my physical gold holdings (compared to previous physical levels).

Right now I'm leaning towards monday being up at first and then selling off mid day and declining for next several days.

First of all, as far as I'm concerned, you are not in the same league as Bob Johnson, so don't even try to compare yourself to him. Secondly, all I've heard from you from day one on this thread is the traditional Gold Bug religious crap that I can hear on Kitco or Gold-Eagle. And yes, I think it's crap and I moderate this thread, so that's all that counts. I experienced the Gold Bug Religion for years on the old GPM thread on SI, which ultimately disintegrated on account of it. I can be bearish or bullish on Gold and I give my reasons, but you'll never get from me the old-fashioned dogmatic Gold Bug religious philosophy.

And I will not tolerate it here either because I've experienced first hand what it can do to a critical thinking thread.

I'm sending you back to your flock and all your followers.

I wish you well.

That was rude and you know it.

Now this makes a lot of sense:

<Yes, Happy Thanksgiving to all. I'm just grateful that I'm alive and can walk, talk, think, work, feel, love, dream and share my thoughts with the SI Community.>

I feel the love and the sharing. LOL.

You are in the time frame now. But nothing is confirmed either way yet. I'll have more to say about this next week.

I'm not running a popularity contest or a traditional gold bug thread.

Who said :

"I will not tolerate disrespect towards anyone."

Apparently your level of tolerance is below the statistical noise level.

Although I appreciate you may have learned something from
me over the years, I do not appreciate it that you dragged
my name into an attack against Claude Cormier.

I have known Claude for over 15 years, and he has earned
my respect by the significant contributions he has made.
You owe him an apology.

As for me, I stopped posting on SI in February 2009.
I just got tired of the rude behavior and personal attacks,
so I now decline your invitation to join in this thread.

I should wrap up my 2009 contest soon.
Subject 57671

I have no plans to run a 2010 contest, so have no reason to
post on SI in the future.

Wish all a prosperous future with their investments !

Best Regards.
Bob Johnson

Most global banks are still unsafe, warns S&P

telegraph.co.uk

Hearing so many rumors about how this whole scam is about to unravel, even heard Obama is going to order 1M troops home to police the country when it goes down!

The rumor mills are alive with just downright sad news at the moment.
