Kenneth makes statements and offers no support for the validity of those statements. He also flip flops and pretends he doesn't.

they would support some economic stimulus

Was there any "economic stimulus" in the "jobs bill"? If there was, why was it the case that there were so many business groups against it? Wasn't the "jobs bill" primarily aimed at extending unemployment insurance?

If Republicans wanted a recovery, they would support some economic stimulus.

Government sponsored economic stimulus may cause a brief spike in economic activity, but in the end it does more damage than good. Proof of this is with the automobile incentives and real estate incentives. These incentives rob from future sales and start wild corrective swings in the sales cycle.

The economic stimulus packages are like slamming meth or heroin. They give a good buzz, but the crash when you come down is a real bitch.

It's good to now that there is at least one democrat who isn't a total fool looking for immediate gratification.

The Republicans appear to want the bills paid for, just as the Democrat legislation has demanded. You have to cut other spending for the new bills. We are very close to going on stage with Greece and other near insolvent countries.

The Democrat rhetoric is thoughtless and not helpful to a recovery. What some Dem bimbo "thinks" is irrelevant. You left wing liberal whackos want to jump off a cliff. Conservatives don't want to hold your hands while you do it.

All the BS dem rhetoric is falling on deaf ears. The public knows the administration and the current congress just want to spend more and more without a clue of the consequences or simply no interest in consequences.

The administration wants to pass every liberal agenda and call it a "jobs bill".

kenny...."If Republicans wanted a recovery, they would support some economic stimulus. All 41 Republicans vote against a bill supported by every Democrat except one. So much for majority rule."....

Does this matter to you or is it democratic/socialist party dictatorship at any cost????

The Chinese economy has so far this year given investors plenty of reasons to be spooked. For starters, there have been concerns that a tightened lending
environment means that the Chinese government is winding down its massive stimulus package.
