LIAR. Oliver Stone is an artist, patriot and genius. He has made some of the best films of all time about some of the trickiest subjects. He has courage, plus a little madness. He volunteered for combat in Vietnam. His film PLATOON remains the best war film of all time, the most truthful. SALVADOR is the best film ever made about the US and Latin America. JFK was an astounding condemnation of the total ignorant fallacy that Oswald killed Kennedy alone. THE DOORS was half great too if you wanted to see the way late 60's were, watch the first half.
However, Stone is not making a political film about GW Shrub Bush, and that is a shame. Personally, I believe a film should be made about the massive corruption of GW Bush and how he sold his soul to the devil just to try and get even with his father and make easy millions for himself. GW Bush wasn't always an evil man, but he came one when he abused his power. But more than GW, I blame the manipulators behind him, especially Cheney. That man is so guilty of such huge crimes he deserves the harshest sentence under the law. He has actually done this country more harm than Bin LAden ever did. And that goes for GW too. |
