Yes, so now I just have to remember each evening to delete the day's history... what would I lose by deleting the day's history? Anything vital? TIA

It sounds like you have obsolete, corrupt or missing CSS files for those sites. Next time it happens press Ctrl-F5 to force the page to be reloaded from the site rather than the cache. Also make sure your bowser cache is not too big. 30-40 mb is usually plenty.

I clear my browsing history many times through out the day, especially after I logged into my bank, as long as you don't include cookies with that you will be fine.

This is what I clear in FF5:

If I deleted the cache what would I delete? TIA

Okay, I saw that option... so, if I deleted everything and just kept the form and search history and the cookies I would be okay? TIA

You should be 100% okay, as I said I do that many times per day, after logging on to my bank for banking or trading, I want that info cleared.

You can also set FF to clear it when you close the browser.

Okay, then I would have to log back into SI and those sites that ask for ID?
