COT added 3198 yesterday over all...

That on a drop of 12,432 from Apr OI and an add of 14,971 to Jun OI. The rollover is on! Nice to see an additional 2500 of Jun OI above and beyond the rollover amount.

208K of Apr still to be shed. 3/30 contract goes notice.

Shoot maybe a bunch of contracts will stand for delivery? Wonder what 50,000 contracts taking deliver would do to the COMEX? eh, don't worry 5 days (including today) to settle those - that's only 40K per day - no problem!? <g>

First natural gas (LNG) refueling station opens in Utah

By JOSH LOFTIN

MORE FROM BUSINESSWEEK

SALT LAKE CITY

The first liquefied natural gas station in Utah opened Tuesday at the junction of two interstate freeways.

The station will likely become an important hub for two planned LNG corridors for long-haul trucks in the western U.S., said Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah. It is located near a Salt Lake City interchange between I-80, which goes east across the country to New York and west to San Francisco, and I-15 running north through Idaho and Montana into Canada and south to Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

"Using more natural gas in our transportation sector will make us more competitive as a nation," Hatch said during a ceremony to open the station. "Natural gas is clean, it's abundant, it's affordable and it's American."

Along with five hoses for LNG service, the station will offer 12 hoses for compressed natural gas that is more commonly used by passenger cars and light-duty trucks, said Merritt Norton, chief executive officer for CH4 Energy, the company that will operate the station.

Utah already has good infrastructure for CNG vehicles, with more than two dozen stations open, Norton said. Many of those are along I-15.

Norton said natural gas burns cleaner than fuel and is non-toxic, which he proved by downing a glass of water mixed with LNG.

Because it is domestic, natural gas provides energy independence and boosts the economy, said Utah Gov. Gary Herbert. But he cautioned that natural gas supplies depend on access to gas wells.

Although many people think protecting the environment and developing resources are mutually exclusive, proper "stewardship of the earth" requires some concessions, Herbert said.

"If we can't drill, if we can't access the natural gas in our public lands, we can't have it here," he said.

The station was partially funded by a $3 million grant from federal stimulus funds given to the Utah Clean Cities Coalition, said Carrie Gilles, the coalition's northern director.

The U.S. Department of Energy says 40 other LNG stations are open in the U.S., 32 of them in California.

CHA-CHING! Sold rest of WNR Calls for +678 gain.

Gives me cash in hand to do something else, might be a bit more left in that trade, but I took a BIG chunk out of middle of it.

I see SFEG is up again on good volume...could rising POG help this one? Remember Sandstorm believed in them enough to put money into SFEG. It hits a 52-w high and I'll be getting an itchy finger.

Quest for this afternoon is do the COMEX shorts organized an attack? Lots of air down to 1430~ish.

I got my shares in CEN today, JimisJim.

I had already made a successful trade in CEN, but had no shares as it dropped this morning, so back in now.

H3: I have to be careful wrt CEN posts because I end up talking my book... obviously I'm not going to argue that CEN isn't undervalued (double negative?)... because obviously I think CEN is about $2-$5/share undervalued now compared to peers... but that is my problem... <ggg>

Huh? Talking yer book? What's that? <grin> er, you see my cha-ching post today? (1)

No objection to one talking their book as long as it comes with back-up info, logic reasons. If book talking gets too OTT here, I'm sure posters will understand a polite request to back off a bit?

No, some of the brightest posters wander in here - as demonstrated by the wild success of TEF Stock Picking Contest. Only one poster failed to make the grade in that - the rest demonstrated excellent acumen in finding the junior winners.

So if you or anyone wants to "talk yer book" go ahead. Just tell us why it is a favorite and what kind of potential you think it has. [see you've done that already!]

1.shoulda read +678% but can't type, nor proof read [apparently!] for that matter!
