Now you have me totally perplexed! I'm having to respond to your post response to my original post to you, NOT from your post to me , but, from this subsequent post to another poster.?? My efforts to "public reply" to your post brings up a login page which I have already filled out and I thought had been accepted in my efforts to follow your suggestions.

In regard to your original answer, I tried the site you suggested, and THOUGHT I read that there was "good news....my IP address and existing cookie match your files" (paraphrasing), therefore my RE-login should be easy.....the following page was a listing of Subscription & User Levels which were ALL PAID LEVELS ONLY....I was previously subscribed as a free level subscriber only. So, now what? I'm afraid that I'm too far into the "idiot" stage to be able to understand and execute your suggestions of tweaking all my Security/anti virus/spyware mess and clearing with all your sites (I think that's a fair paraphrase of what you suggested?). If you are unable to return me to the status that I previously enjoyed, unless I go through all the hoops that you have suggested, would you then recommend that I go back to the Geek Patrol people, who did the transfer and installing of my new computer, in order to get me there? They are pretty darned costly.

I can add this additional info which MAY be of help for your efforts....I THINK Im hooked up with Norton protection and Webroot Spy Sweeper if that would be of any help.

Awaiting your sincere reply,

Buck....aka buckbldr

You have something blocking cookies.

Disable them temporarily - which you can usually do by right clicking their icons in the icon tray, and then see if it works. If it does, enable one of them and see if it still works. If not, disable it again and enabled the other. That way you will know what the culprit is.

Don't think I disabled them.
Right click on Norton Protection Center....Small flag reading: Open Norton Protection Center....line below reads: Change notification options....

Right click on Webroot Spy Sweeper.....brings up an 11 item small flag menu which failed to list .."disable".

Tried SI message board after the right click action, still malfunctions as previously described. ??

I am not familiar with either of those apps. Perhaps someone on #subject-22366 can help.

Dave why, when we're doing a 'search' does the year we're asking for go from 2005 to the present year?
You are leaving out 2006 and 2007!

That site's language was beyond this dummie's comprehension....a common problem with us pre-computer educated folks.

I gave up and called the Geek Patrol for help on their 30 day warranty for my installation. The ability to TALK to a person did the trick...they got it fixed. As I understand it, he set up my protections to allow, or enable, ads on these message boards, and they are working fine now.

Thanks for your efforts, sorry they couldn't do the task.

Glad you got it taken care of. Sounds like whoever configured it originally thought it needed security like Fort Knox.

I am new here and first would like to say, great site! The live chart feature works excellent. I was playing with the live chart tool and noticed there is a fast stochastic, but no slow stochastic. Is this option available at all? Any feedback would be appreciated

Why don't I get any of the numbers for a chart when I look at one? I get the chart with no trouble, but it doesn't tell me a thing about price action or volume for the day. How can I get this info?
