dell.naz - sold off hard today, market maybe has yet to hear of my purchase of one of their machines ... or is anticipating the complaints [oh yeah they're coming, and btw Microsoft your IE17.666 or whatever sucks bigtime, how come you can't let the windows line up nicely along the bottom like Netscape did, and what is this 'tabs' bs anyway] ... hugely time-consuming, this whole business of computer change, frustrating, you miss so much about the good parts of the old one, although not the steady black screen it was producing at the end
'gold stocks two standard deviations from gold' - says JS ... what can possibly be standard about a deviation? - thinking of all the deviants with which i'm so far acquainted, there's so much variation, some short some tall, different ages, genders, accents, attitudes, everything, there is no standard, you can't even say they all stand on two legs because one is missing half a leg, luckily for him the bottom half from the knee down, but there's nobody with an extra half to pick up the average either ... serious question - what is a 'standard deviation' and does it have any application outside of 'new maths'
ngd.to - just before close, was setting up an offer for the morning, got the numbers mixed, ignored the warning that it was below bid [duh], fired it in and now it's gone, better than ten per cent of position, aargh ... oh well it may have a morning like today and i'll get em back cheaper ... although, that was quite a turnaround today, hmm
k.to, g.to - playing both of these now too, you only need thirty per cent down and the rest OPM, so a ten per cent move becomes better than thirty after commission, wonderful leverage, of course it works [ahem] both ways ... but the well-known producers will lead in a bounce, for the time being i'm leaving the speckies alone for a bit, holding all i've been stuck with, of course, way underwater but what can you do ... tak.v my contest pick, lol, at .09 if memory serves, well i got a few the other day for exactly half that, they're holding more per share in cash but that simply does not matter
