But you can still watch Geraldo. He's always good for laughs.

That's all he's good for.

But Russert not knowing that Bush has nothing to do with the Superdome is a little absurd, don't you think? I mean, if one of the whack jobs on SI said it, no big deal. But Russert?

YOU DO KNOW THAT IT'S ALL BUSH'S FAULT, DON'T YOU?

I've told you that if you really want to peer into the minds of those who call themselves Democrats, all you have to do is take a look at their Internet chat room, democraticunderground.com. Here's a post from some Democrat who calls herself "barbaraann." She says "Saddam had rape rooms, Bush has rape stadiums." Here are some of the other goodies you find from our Democrat brothers and sisters who have posted to Democratic Underground:

"Don't forget bush* has mass graves now also, just like Saddam." (RetroLounge)
"Saddam gassed his own people, Bush let his drown. Who has the higher body count? Shrub by far." (MidnightWind)
"OMG ... how true it is!!!! I hate him. I hate this bastard." (cynatnite)
MEANWHILE -- THE AMERICAN PEOPLE BELIEVE DIFFERENTLY

We have the results of a CNN/USA Today/Gallup Poll this morning. People were asked who they blamed for the disaster in New Orleans. I'm sure that the angry left will be disappointed with the results:

So ... who's to blame?

Local officials, 25%
Federal officials 18%
Bush 13%
No one 38%

Get your news from Pat Robertson. He agrees with those little voices in your head. But never, never watch a person with a brain if you want to remain right wing.

Do you mean a brain or an agenda?

I assume you're referring to the talking heads
mentioned in Smithee's post. Ya gotta love those
guys. They play to the least common denominator
of the Democrat party faithful by repeating the
DNC talking points ad nauseam until the
dolts get it. It's all about repetition to the
point of making something sound true because it's
been stated before.

Yeah, it's a smart tactic, but it doesn't
work so well when the audience has a brain.

btw, getting news from Pat Robertson is like getting news
from Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson. I hope you don't
frequent any of those "sources."<g>

As opposed to the Ann Coulter's and Rush Limbaugh's who play to the gullible with a mean streak?

Thank you. Your comment has been noted and tabulated.

If you are determined not to be a loser, you will be notified at a future date.

(why is it folks are so defensive about Tim Russert? Could it be now that he's shown his true colors, you can't hide behind the illusion that he is an bona fide member of broadcast journalism?)

I don't care what Schumer did. He voted for the disaster in Iraq, didn't he?

mph, I believe K.T. was offended that I took issue with Tim Russert's recent display in which he allowed his partisan feelings to bubble to the surface. Russert apparently is a journalism icon to the left (as he should be - they've lost so many others recently - the Jason Blairification of the NYT, the antics of Chris Matthews, etc.), so anyone who dares to question his objectivity in their minds walks lockstep with Pat Robertson.

Has anyone noticed that of the people on my list, Matthews, Olberman and, now, Russert, are all from the NBC marquee?

Has anyone noticed that NBC's cable channel, MSNBC, is having difficult times with the ratings?

Wonder why?
