Actually I think Bernanke has done a superb job of managing monetary policy.

Well, how about writing something between zero and 25 pages? After all, you made a ten year prediction and refuse to justify it... how do you think it looks? Frankly, you may be a genius, but without any rational behind your prediction you only appear foolish...

The Fed has done a remarkable job with damage control thus far but the Fed's easy monetary policies are largely responsible for the late 90 stock market bubble and the real estate bubble.

The Fed is like an arsonist putting out a fire they started and then proclaiming themselves to be the hero of the day. Too bad your savings burned up in the fire. A new tax will protect you in the future, they say.

Hmm... maybe I'm talking about the mafia.

The Fed is a bartender who tends to the drunks -- and when he hears their cars crash down the road after leaving the bar, he rushes to the scene of the accident with more booze to dull the pain. The fed has not managed anything -- the Fed just keeps the liquor flowing and the drunks can never get enough of it. Don't ask the dead people by the side of the road what they think of the Fed's 'management' of the economy.
