veteran CBS News correspondent Bob Simon reported on the plight of Christians of the Holy Land who have been leaving the region for many years.

In large part, Simon blamed the Christian exodus on Israel
.

All that Bob Simon accomplished with his report was to confirm he is nothing more than a "company man" hack - nothing more than a talking head reading a teleprompter with a script provided by the White House.

The White House sends the talking points and agenda to CBS and "suggests" the storyline. The script gets written and has-beens like Bob Simon dutifully fall into lockstep mouthing the dictates of the Obama administration.

He gets an all expense-paid vacation to the beaches of Israel with his family, tours all the tourist spots, sends out a camera crew to get B-roll, interviews pre-screened candidates that follow the already provided script and cobbles together the exact episode the White House wanted.

Pravda and Tass at least had no qualms identifying where they were coming from.

Maybe......but I definitely think the race is his to lose...............Obama has screwed up everything he has touched...the main fear I have is that he won't get down in the trenches with Obama and his crew....Obama can not run on his record of failure.....so he is going to go after Romney personally.....hopefully Romney is up to it.....

I think the nature of dead wood usually leads to it's own end.

Yes, but it can go on for a long time. Politicians and bureaucrats want to be "successful" at what they do - which means more laws and more bureaucracy. The predictable unintended consequences are stupid complexity, higher costs, and no one is happy.

But we never learn - we demand more "action" from them, and that's what we get... :)

Somehow Romney finds it necessary to always tell the us in his speeches and commentary that Obama is a nice guy. We know, we know, we know.

So? What has that to do with Obama's management of our country's critical issues? Zip, nadda.

It isn't essential to be brutal, but at least call out Obama when the facts clearly indicate it is appropriate.

Otherwise, he is a walking McCain who also thought Obama was a nice guy.

Are we going to believe those boring, lying numbers, or the great Mr. Obama?

He says we're about to break even - the numbers say we're going broke.

Well, I think Romney is correct to stay on message...talk about gas prices, jobs, debt and the economy....no need to get personal unless Obama makes it personal......

Unfortunately, Obama and his team made it personal long ago.

Romney has American Crossroads and others that are making it personal with Obama. Perhaps, that will be enough. Still too soon to know for sure.

Nothing is more personal to Romney that trashing his work at Bain.

And even that doesn't seem to get him too excited.
