People talk about the "end of Capitalism" and its"failure" - as if there are any sound alternatives.

They talk like that because they want, for some reason, a rise of socialism. The dismiss it's constant world-wide failure as being due to "bad management."

Florida is REALLY good news. If we win, the Gay issue plus the attack on business are going to be seen as two wrong moves by Obama.

freedom is just not a very popular concept.

I see it as a "busybody" problem. They want their personal freedom, but they want laws restricting other people.

Hatch is a fighter. But when push comes to shove, he will vote the way most of us here want a Senator to vote.

Reagan can connect with blue collar Catholics. Romney can't. It will be a downside for him in Pennsylvania. OTOH, the economy is so bad they should go for him anyway.

I think Hatch is a lot more on our side than you give him credit for.

he certainly isn't the worst of the career pols in the R column....but he is no tea party conservative that's for sure

i recently had dinner with some friends and the husband is a utah state delegate and he told me that they really want orrin hatch re-elected because of seniority, should they get the senate, he would probably be head of the powerful finance committee....he was convinced orrin hatch will win handily
