Bill O'Reilly and his co-worker, the woman in question, were both required to keep their lips buttoned as a condition of the settlement of a sexual harassment lawsuit of a few years ago.

My assumption is that this was a hoax perpetuated around the 2008 election for ratings purposes only.

Why is the candidate always the last to know?
Oh well.

I had never thought of that possibility but I suppose no one but those personally involved really know the truth.

The most congenial climate I've ever come across is in South Africa. The Cape area is unbelievable.

I do. And I send emails to him if I don't like something. He has his faults but some stuff he brings us is important.

Yes on junk mail and no on the fuel that runs our economy.

They stripped every leaf off every tree. It literally look like November in July. Every step you took outside you killed 20. It threw me into a small depression it was so bad.
The problem now in the west is the pine bark beetle. Huge swaths of mountain forest land are covered with dead trees.

I think most accusations with such payoffs have merit, that one included.

Fabulous. Thanks for bringing it to everyone's attention.

Do you have AlGorythm's email address? I'd love to send this to him, though I doubt he'd read it because it isn't 'political' science. Pun intended.

I love it when settled ideas are disturbed, rendered useless, by the creative work of brilliant scientists.

Just amazing.

Truth will out, eventually, slowly, grudgingly, kicking and screaming, but it will out.

Yep, anthropogenic global warming seems stone cold dead.......I had previously not aligned myself with any camp on the issue because I didn't feel competent even as an interested amateur [unlike AlGorythm and his ilk] to pass judgment on such a complex issue. This, however, seems authoritative.

I wonder how this will affect things?

I wonder how related sunspot activity might be?

In 1960 you’d not get a job in an American geology department if you believed in continental drift

In the 1960s, when I was a school boy, I could look at a map and see clearly that continental drift had taken place.
