I've lived through several years of Presidents, and NEVER have thought that I couldn't trust a single word the man, or any of his staff, said!!!

He'd like everyone to believe it is 'racist' to say things like that, but in fact, none of us think like that, and we say "Lie to us once, shame on you, Lie to us twice, shame on me for listening to anything you say....

Hope someone tells the bankruptcy court and the Best Bloggers the story......the regular media won't do their job...

Forklifts brought one pallet after another piled high with the carefully packaged glass. Slowly but surely it all ended up shattered

Very interesting. I wonder if the bankruptcy trustee and creditors know about the company destroying inventory that is an asset of the estate.

"Michael Reagan Endorses Newt Gingrich

Atlanta, GA - Newt 2012 today released the following statement announcing that Michael Reagan has endorsed Newt Gingrich for president.

Michael Reagan"I am endorsing Newt Gingrich for President and here's why:

Newt understands that we must reject and fundamentally change the course that Barack Obama has set for America.

Newt is our only chance in 2012 to contrast a Reagan conservative with Obama's European' styled socialism.

Newt exemplifies the conservative principles my father championed.

Strong national defense, lower taxes and smaller government.

In the 90's Newt's leadership brought us the Contract with America which changed Washington.

I'm confident Newt can do it again.

We cannot afford a candidate backed by the same Washington insiders who repeatedly tried to undermine my father and the Reagan revolution.

It's time to choose.

Do we go forward with bold ideas or continue with failed policies?

So I ask my fellow Republicans and conservatives to join me in supporting Newt Gingrich for president.""

And:

South Carolina State House Speaker Endorses Newt Gingrich
Columbia, SC – South Carolina State House Speaker Bobby Harrell today announced his support for and endorsement of Speaker Newt Gingrich in the South Carolina Republican Primary.

"Cathy and I make these decisions together. We believe Newt Gingrich is the right choice for South Carolina, and for the United States. His commitment to the conservative principles of lower taxes, smaller government, and economic development are key to restoring America to greatness. Speaker Gingrich is the only candidate with proven leadership experience, which is what we need to effect real change in Washington."

Speaker Harrell was elected to the South Carolina State House of Representatives in 1992, and was elected to serve as Speaker of the House in 2005. He owns an insurance business in Charleston, South Carolina, where he lives with his wife, Cathy, and two children.

Speaker Gingrich was humbled to receive the endorsement of such an experienced and committed conservative from the state of South Carolina. "Speaker Harrell has provided exemplary leadership in South Carolina, and we are honored by his and Cathy's endorsement. We look forward to working together to improve the infrastructure of South Carolina and putting South Carolinians back to work."

Dems receive more campaign cash from Bain Capital than Republicans

Rick Moran
Nothing like a little schadenfreude to get the day started. The Hill:

Democrats have accepted more political donations than Republicans from executives at Bain Capital, complicating the left's plan to attack Mitt Romney for his record at the private equity firm.

During the last three election cycles, Bain employees have given Democratic candidates and party committees more than $1.2 million. The vast majority of that sum came from senior executives.

Republican candidates and party committees raised over $480,000 from senior Bain executives during that time period.

Recipients include Democratic senators facing tough reelection races this year, such as Jon Tester (Mont.), Claire McCaskill (Mo.), Sherrod Brown (Ohio) and Bill Nelson (Fla.).

The Hill reviewed contributions made from the 2008, 2010 and 2012 cycles.

Romney has collected more money from Bain Capital employees than any federal candidate since the beginning of 2007, amassing more than $166,000 in contributions. He took more than $84,000 from Bain employees in the first three quarters of 2011.

But President Obama received a sizable share as well. He has accepted more than $80,000 from Bain employees since the beginning of 2007. Bain Capital employees gave $27,500 to Obama during the first three quarters of 2011.

I doubt that returning the money will fool anyone. The fact is, Democrats have been outraising the GOP among financial services companies by a large margin and the Dems eagerly accepting contributions from Bain and their executives is just part of that.

It won't stop Obama from going after Romney for being "rich." But I'll bet mentions of Bain by the Democrats will begin to fade very quickly.

Todd Palin Letter Supporting Newt for President

January 15, 2012

Dear Fellow Conservative:I'm deeply concerned about our nation's future. I believe that we must nominate and elect a President candidate this year who will stop America's slide and fight for the values that made our nation great.

I believe that candidate is Newt Gingrich, and I am proudly supporting him for President. I deeply hope you will, too.

Just like my wife Sarah, Newt tells the American people the truth and what he believes, not what he thinks they want to hear. He doesn't flip-flop on core issues to advance his political chances.

Like Sarah, Newt can take hits from his opponents and the media, and keep on fighting. He's tough as nails, and he is still standing today because of the power of his ideas, not because he had the most money!

And when it's time to stand on the national debate stage this fall, you can't tell meany other candidate will be able to expose Barack Obama and persuade the voters of the conservative case as powerfully as Newt will!

As an Independent, it's also important to me that Newt knows how to work with Democrats without giving up on our principles. We can't afford to nominate a pre- packaged candidate without core beliefs -- we need a committed conservative leader who knows how to take on the establishment and create real change!

Newt wrote the Contract with America, balanced the budget four years in a row as Speaker, and reformed welfare. We need his vision and proven leadership, with his record of getting things done, in the White House.

I'm with Newt Gingrich and I would be honored if you would stand with me and cast your vote for Newt in the primary.Yours for America,Todd Palin
