LOL NOW I know where you are coming from.

You could modify the basic metabolic rate of the human. That way the body just acts like it has been shorted on calories.

** Best done with herbs ** see!! now it's on topic!!

Gersh

In case you haven't figured it out yet, I don't take you or anything you say seriously.

You're wasting your time posting to me.

If you are icing at the end of every run then you are pushing yourself beyond the limits of your joints and tendons. You may be running too hard, or without rhythm(awkwardly), or your tendons just may not be up to the level of stress you are putting on them.

Tendons, Ligaments, and other 'white' tissues take much longer to develop than muscle tissue. Four years is not nearly enough to get them caught up with your improved muscle development. Pushing too hard in this phase of a fitness program often causes tendon issues and occasionally pulls and tears.

If you are jogging or running, you might consider doing less of that and more long fast paced walking. A fast
walking pace is much better for your tissue development--it signals the muscles to increase mitochondrial development-- and it puts less stress on the joints. It boils down to 'Time on Feet', not 'How fast can I run the course?'.

(It took me over five years of very intense training to get my tendons up to snuff, and I still find that I have
to put in a few hundred miles on the 'hard hot highway' doing fast paced walking just to get them back in shape after a pause in the long difficult stuff. From my experience icing the tendons is just sidestepping the root cause of the problem. And icing does very little to get the blood into the tissues--the pain is gone but the development is impeded.)

Not telling you what to do, just telling you what I've learned from a decade of long runs.

Good Luck and keep on movin.

If you would take the time to read some of EC's older stuff you might find a lot there you don't know. However, going back and actually reading the archive is likely to be something beyond most people.
I have read most all of his posts and learned a lot, often it was touted as 'new findings and research' by the established medical community years later. His high blood pressure, and cholesterol posts were very on topic. He did it without the common 'medically accepted' crap that often kills you in other ways.
EC is a lot of things, but he ain't no shill. Get your facts straight before you post insults.

I would love to see the entire "community" of general MD practitioners, dope dealers, vitamin peddlers, homeopathy, etc blown off the map in Kantada, establishment or not. The whole landscape is littered with these educated cons peddling their legalized chemical lobotomies called narcotics, anti-psychotics, anti-depressants, and other useless chemical and non-chemical "remedies". Meanwhile, the hospitals are germ ridden empty shells of once functional institutions. Do you really think people need another chemical boondoggle such as supplements to cure their own stupidity?

ja, ja, Carter's little liver pills.

92% of drugs came from the Amazon forest. Before they were drugs they were flowers and weeds. Vincristine, Vinblastine and Taxol were tree bark in BC and flowers in Madagascar. Aspirin was a Canadian shrub. What cure the first explorers to Canada of scurvywas native suggestion of a tea made with cedar leaves.

An open mind keeps getting fresh air. You are a getting stale. Get out in the world of new ideas and innovate.

I brought my BP down to 130/80 from 198/120 my HDL from 0.85 to 110, my TC from 6.5 to 3.8. And myself from death's door to health. All with useless iver the counter supplements. And I have helped a few others.

Bu I admit you have to know what you are doing. Some, well most people could not do that.

Life if for the learners.

It might be possible to "cure" oneself of most HD with diet and exercise alone. It will do a great deal.

But the supplements work -- IYKWYAD.

And so do some of the drugs fed us. They ain't all bad. The hospitals do saw the odd bone right. The Cancer is in the Canadian medicare system which encourages warehousing.

The fetish for anti bis is feeding a few diseases. They have to do something about that, but it is straight overuse that is killing us there. Strep and Staph can kill so first sign of it, hit it with a nuclear charge of anti bi. Eventually the anti bis don't work. The solution, more anti bis. They can be dope, whilst they have saved many.
