In the end the Patriots sputtered. Hard to believe the mediocre Giants are Super Bowl Champs. Green Bay and San Fran would have been a better game.
At least 8 months until the Jiant fans try to lynch Couglin again. :.)

The game was like watching the movie Paranormal Activity. If you were not a fan, the game was likely pretty boring with perhaps a few wows at the end. If you were a fan, the suspense ate you up and had you screaming at the end. Yes, going 9-7 and winning the Super Bowl proves there is no justice in the world. Thank goodness for that!

Yes, but the score was 21-17. You lost the tie-break by two points to Jr. He won his fantasy league as well. He's on a roll.

Eli truly has been "the man". Tom Coughlin deserves a lifetime contract for what he's done.

I also love that song and used to listen to a thousand times in a row before my second kid was born.

Congrats!

The game moved pretty slow IMO but a SB win is a SB win

Yesterday my barber went nuts about the over/under line being 55. He thought the under was the bet of the century and couldn't believe it. I said I agreed, but usually when something is too good to be true it is. I'm pretty sure he still bet it. In retrospect, when you consider the 3.5 pts the Giants were getting and the over/under, don't you think Vegas took a bath?

Consider this: the other team has the ball on the 20, no timeouts, needs a TD, and has about 38 seconds to do it. Why not line up 12+ guys on each play, except the last one? This way you can have a five man rush and dime package in coverage. You waste time, perhaps get a big sack, knock the ball down, etc... in exchange for a five yard penalty. What's not to like?
