FOLD was up some last week, apparently in anticipation ofr its presentation at UBS on Monday.
But after the presentation, the stock did slide down.<g>
However today it is among the stocks that have been able to stay on the black, albeit on low volume about 1/5 its ADV.<g>
bigcharts.marketwatch.com

The ACTAY is $7.83
The stock has good insiders holdings, some of which did some buying last month.
Institutions reportedly hold >50% of the shares.
FOLD has a relatively low LTD and reportedly around $2.40 in cash/shre
However, in this kind of market, it seems better to wait and see if it will be able to hold at present levels,
Or if it will re-visit the $2 level.<g>

Ola Bernard. Long time. Hope you are well.

FOLD

<But after the presentation, the stock did slide down.<g>>

So, it's down some more. To a new low on really low vol. What does that spell for you, technically speaking?

Sergio

Hola Sergio,
Nice to hear from you.
I have been around SI, but you are the one that had been hiding.<g>
Also hope everything remains well.

Regarding FOLD

As you know, their main products are orally administered small molecule drugs for the treatment of various human genetic diseases.
Those drugs have been called "chaperones" because they bind to the target protein increasing its stability and activity.
FOLD's primary focus seems to be on lysosomal storage disorders and diseases of neurodegeneration, which don't have a large market potential.
Its lead candidate is Amigal, which is in PIII for the treatment of patients with Fabry disease.
They also have AT2220 PI for Pompe disease and Plicera for the treatment of Gaucher disease.

Although I don't follow it too close, today it dipped below its near-term support at the $3.50 level, but was able to close on the black, on low volume in spite of some good sized down ticks in the last two minutes of trading.
(More than 2500 each in the one minute chart, with total volume for the day only 33,528.)
The insiders that had done some slight selling in May did some buying in June and August.

The ACTAY is $7.83
The important support seems to be at the $3 level, although in July last year it dipped below $2 <g>
It reportedly has around $2.40 in csh/shr and relatively small LTD, but negative CF around $12.6M and negative FCF around $25.88M

The first resistance is at the $5.50 level and then the $7.90 level, which is where they could start closing the Oct2009 DG.<g>

ILMN is up for 2nd day on a roll in spite of the general market and reporting earnings below expectations.<g>
The stock was up 13.40% and is still up 9.44%
It said that it plans to cut costs and that sales are expected to accelerate in the 4thQ.

The ACTAY is $36.67
It seems that the stock could get to close its Oct9 DG. <g>

NBIX was up 12.61% at its intraday H and is still up 11.50% on volume of > 234Ks, still below its ADV.
It reported good results for its 3rdQ. <g>

Will see if the stock can go through the resistance at the $7.50 level in the present market environment. <g>

ABMD is trading up 15.73% on volume > half its ADV after reporting its 2ndQ results this morning.<g>
finance.yahoo.com

The ACTAY is now up to $17.79
I will still keep a TT around $20 as long as it keeps reporting good results. <g>

MDAS is up 18.73% on volume about 5x its ADV
The stock opened with a good UG, which hasn't been closed as yet.<g>
bigcharts.marketwatch.com

The ACTAY is $14.76
MDAS has been loosing money and has a large LTD.
The forward PE is supposedly around 11 and it has +CF of $107M and +FCF around $245M
However, the insiders and institutions have been persistent sellers.<g>

<<MRNA 0.15 now! Are u still in? What is your new take? >>

Sorry for the delayed answer.
I have been bussy on other endeavours.<g>

But MRNA is now at $0.147 that's up >5% on 361Ks.<g>

I have been selling it on spikes like the one on Nov29 to $0.21 with a volume of > 8M and buying back some after the corrections.

The outlook, especially with the present market conditions, doesn't look too good, but at my present average cost, I don't mind. :)

In the < $1 group I am more interested on PYMX at present. :)
But watching to see how much of the recent UG it is going to close.<g>

CYTX is among the few biotechs that have doubled in price so far this year.<g>

It has received an IDE approval from the FDA to begin the ATHENA trial. <g>.
ATHENA will investigate the use of the Celution System, to prepare adipose-derived stem and regenerative cells to treat chronic myocardial ischemia .
(The IDE application was originally submitted to the FDA in December. ).

The ATHENA plans to enroll 45 patients with CMI who have limited therapeutic options.
It will evaluate a variety of clinical and functional outcomes, including safety, peak oxygen consumption and clinical outcomes at 12-months.

CYTX insiders did a good amount of buying late last year and so far this year, seem to just be exercising their options.<g>
However, the institutions sold abut 10% of their holdings late last year.<g>
CYTX has been burning its cash at a good pace and has substantial LTD.
It seems it will need some new cash infusion in the near future. <g>

The ACTAY is $4.50 and last year H was $8.44
Next earnings report is expected on March 12.
Volume has increased in the last two days and the stock looks overbought near-term as the price is getting too far from its EMA 5 and the RSI climbs above 80 <g>
