I remember when my MIL died. Christian Science so no funeral and only wife and I at the burial. After I took my wife to a horse ranch where it was foaling season to watch the foals. Seemed to help.

I had some wood flooring torn out and had stone looking tile put in. Wife said I was nuts but then liked it enough to have 500 sq ft more done.
They guy who bid the job quoted me $500 on the original small patch billed me $1,215 and had a goon standing there when he gave me the bill. He called today asking if we were going to have more tile put in. Told him yes, he was looking for work. He asked what he quoted me and I told him some one else was doing it and he had lost two more jobs on references. Nice feeling as he nailed me for $700 and I cost him over $12 large.
