I understand he has already been convicted of a felony once before. If this is true he is looking at probably around 10-15 years in the Federal pen. Feds have a mandatory minimum sentencing and you serve 85% of that time. He will only live 6-9 months before someone in the pen slits his throat for the possible 9/11 connection, real or imagined he is a "dead man walking".
IMHO

That's a little dramatic. More likely, he will get his heart punctured by the tail end of a toothbrush sharpened by repeated scrapeing on the floor for threatening to sue an inmate for defamation of character.

Actually, he'll be fine. He's good at making friends. That's the key to staying alive in jail. I almost found out the hard way however, that in jail, even friendship has its price. Lucky for me, I was only in for a few days and got out before payback time.

I wish A@P the very best and will be toasting him with champagne as they lead his candy-@ss from the courtroom back to his natural home.

Guilty (of something certainly)

Aloha, Mike

PS: Impristine, thank for covering your -<mouth>- when you burp.

PT,

That's a really interesting link you showed there. Is it possible to see the same chart with a more recent date? For example, what was the buy-sell status this past Friday, or maybe on May 1st or something like that... Thanks.

EDIT - <grub>

Kerry, how ya been?

I asked the exact same question to the person who showed me that chart. Sooooo ... you'll get the same answer I got--lol! You can sign up for a 30-day free trial with DecisionPoint.com. and that should enable you to find out about the question marks in the latter portion of that chart. I haven't done this yet. I hope to, but time hasn't been very friendly to me of late. Please let me know if you find out, and I'll do the same if I find out--thanks.

It's a pretty startling chart, ain't it? I'd have thought selling pressure wouldda been greater in the aftermath of Goldman's tech selloff, rather than the day prior to 9/11.

Is this the mystery of maniuplation or the mystery of the market? All I know, as of now, is the poet in me tells me it's a mystery of history!!!

PT,

Oh, I'm doing just fine, thank you... Yourself?

Yes, I agree. The revelation of the pre-9/11 selling pressure is rather startling. The reason that I wanted to see something more recent is that, in the single chart that is offered, I'm looking at a slice of time, during which, a particularly bad global event took place that impacted the markets worldwide. This is somewhat akin to hearing some piece of news that's taken out of context. If I could see a few more time slices for this chart, then I could put the 9/11 chart somewhat into proper perspective. As it is now, I don't really know how unusual the selling pattern is that I'm looking at. Since I'm not a trader, that particular web site offers very little in the way of value to me, so I'll not clog up their registration process (or my e-mail inbox) by requesting a free trial when I have absolutely no intentions of becoming a paying member.

Kerry, I be doing fine. With the IPO market dim, I've not been trading much, just hanging in with a couple of prospects and a sleeper stock I've been 'buffeting' (holding) since the days of my first three trades.

Regarding the charting, I'd think that information could be gleamed also from other sources besides DecisionPoint.com. Try stockcharts.com or bigcharts.com or perhaps some of the shorting sites.
