OT - I'm all in RtS! My own personal guidelines prevent me from any further press. Now I just gotta watch and ride it out - settin' up my own max-pain limits to keep it from gettin' outahand. Ya may just be watchin' my last AMAT ST dark-side play if I go down in flames!

OT: The naz is at new highs for this rally since March or October. It may take a couple more days for us to see this current short term rally peter out since it is now a break out above previous resistance of 1686 on the NASDAQ.

Plus there are still too many puts!

I'm not adding to my AMAT short position until I see AMAT with an RSI of 70 on its daily chart.

Currently AMAT's RSI is at 63.5 it could mean a high of 18 or more to get there if you ask me. At least the TRIN is falling:

Still I think patience will be amply rewarded but what da heck do know? If it hits 70 on the RSI I will add to the short position. If it comes back down first I will not complain. If we actually see a business led economic recovery supporting the growth of these stock prices I will be slaughtered just like the pig I am.

OT: RtS - I just couldn't let this go by without making a comment.:)

Now if you would have just followed my advice yesterday, set your alarm clock to get up early and go long in the pre-market before everyone drove the price up you would be sitting on a handsome gain now.:)

The guru from VLSI has spoken. 40 new and retrofitted fabs are going to be required by 2004. It's going to be a "scramble" to bring them all on-line in time. Once the market heard this proclamation it had to place to go but up!!

OT: Golly Don, who cares about VLSI? If I would have only followed my own advice. I've still got buy signals on my short term trading indicators that have not been invalidated.

I can't wait for RSI's to reach 70 to short.

I can't wait for a 5 day TRIN average of 0.85.

I can't wait for the put to call ratio to close under 0.50.

I can't wait for the VIX to dip back below 21.

Oh well, at least I can laugh at myself.
