Thanks! No chance to put up the tripod for low ISO or HDR images due to the three little kids - some of the places were very crowded.

And a few times I wished I could go wider than 18 mm ;-) But as always I tried to make the best of the circumstances - and I just love the atmosphere of city life in the dark.

I reserve the right to cancel any bids from those with negative, zero or "private" feedback. I reserve the right to cancel this auction if I feel there is any fraudulent activity occuring. No international bidding---USA and Canada ONLY! If from Nigeria, I may condsider a bid as this lens would be excellent to throw at small animals to try to render them unconscious. It could improve your hunting while your wife is using the blow gun.

>> (675, so far)

Work on it. At 3000, you get a nice certificate ;-).

Hell, unc., the next time I tried, I got 1075.

You want me to do it with one arm tied behind my back?

I shall return with a screen shot. ;>)

Earlier this week my wife and I celebrated the 27th anniversary of the day we met. Coincidentally, that's also her birthday and the day before mine. When I mentioned to my employer, a female with excellent taste, that I was going to take home some roses, she admonished me that they are passe. (Imagine that there is an accent over that last "e.") She immediately picked up the phone and ordered a bouquet from her favorite florist. You can imagine how pleased I was to learn that the stylist decided to include roses, which indicates that my taste might not be entirely out of whack.

I placed the presentation in my sunroom, which with its white walls, floor and ceiling becomes a giant reflector. The lighting is from above, a combination of halogen and incandescent. I used a grey card for WB.

This is the first time I've tried anything like this. Now that I have a D80 in my bag, I'm doing a lot of things for the first time and lovin' it.

Do I smell a total convert to digital here? ;-)

Oh, nice shot BTW!

Huh? You picked her up on her birthday? Was she wishing for you when she blew out the candles?

Earlier this week, Nancy and I celebrated our 36th anniversary. I bought her dinner. She paid the tip.

Yuch. That's a disgusting mixture. You did very well to sort it out. Nice work, and congratulations on finding a champ of a gal!
