I have a "friend" who talks like dat. He sold his Silicon valley house, scared others to do the same... makes his money, he claims, shorting stocks. When he sends out 3 to 5 emails a day telling the handful on his email list how smart he is and how "Bernanke's race" is responsible for the world's ills... I know it is time to buy... when he's silent for many weeks.... I worry and start to take profits. sort of like stag's bear news indicator
He told me to sell my house in 1998. It has probably doubled since then... He forgets that for the system to "operate" the people in charge, be they dems or repubs, need a place to live and send their kids to school. THey also need to find ways to make money with inflation, bubbles, etc.... Thinking like a kriminal as da cheif calls it.... I've done well buying where they want to live and buying what they need to run up then selling some when they start to unload... to have cash to spend as well as buy back and do it again.
