Chuck, that concept does sound interesting, but I would be extremely skeptical of LSGT. I know two people who lost a lot of money on this one, as a result of "cold call" tactics by the firm who underwrote an offering for them. The stock went from $9 to $11 to $9 to $7 to $3 to $1 ... (i think you get the picture). The only time the stock seemed to move up was when this firm needed to get rid of its inventory. The company files electronically, and as a result its F/S are on EDGAR -- they are not pretty. There is obviously a lot less price risk w/ LSGT at this level, but they have a long way to go to convince me that they can make money, and fund operations without diluting the company to zero.

Be careful !!

Dan

I heard about this on a Radio talk show hosted by, I think, Ed Taxin on 1050 AM from NY. It was mentioned that the Co. had reorganised and investors could look for better days ahead. I dont remember too much now, since it is almost 2-3 weeks ago that I heard this.

LSGT @ $1 on 2M shares.

I've had this stock for a couple of months. I bought it because it seemed to me that it will be using the internet in a way which make the load time for graphics worth it. I am also impressed by their client list and believe that with the change in management they are a viable turnaround.

I just charted it for the past year and yesterday's volume was by far the largest in that time. They've issue two press releases in the past month (see Briefing Books, WSJ Interactive):

5/17--Lasergate Systems Reports A Record 137% Increase In Revenues, Compared To First Quarter, 1995

5/28--Lasergate Systems Announces Appointment Of New Chief Financial Officer

I'm on the "Inside Wall Street" mailing list and this is their featured stock this month. That promo arrived on 5/25.

None of this explains why the big jump in volume came yesterday. Delayed reaction or is something else up?

Luck to all--Gary

Maybe National TV???

Well, this certainly qualifies as vague. At lunch I was mentioning the run-up to my wife who said she heard something on TV--CNBC or CNN she thought--about picking concert seats on the internet. Maybe that's it. At any rate, I checked their last 10QSB which listed just under 4.8M shares outstanding. Last time I looked 4.7M had traded since open yesterday. Interesting....

Any thoughts on where this is going?
Nice move yesterday on record volume. Any news or current rumor to account for the activity?

Hey Charlie

Saw the move a couple of days ago. Got in this AM. Have heard only "loose talk" about this stock. Sounds like something is immenent. Rumours are around. Don't know what and I will not comment on rumours until I hear some firm stuff.

Good Luck

Regards
Dave

The stock has been moving up without any type of AOL or cyber hype that I know of. Maybe, LSGT is moving based on its own merits.

Let's wait and see.

Chuck:

What are your feelings about this company? It had a nice run this week and the price dropped today. Maybe, those who bought last than $1 are selling. Could we see $2 and above next week?
