My daily routine check with Dr. Henry:

Are you still forecasting 600 Golden Eggs from your Golden AAPL?

Nope...I never "forecasted" 600...

I said:
  • Uptrend remains intact.
  • Measured move from last bullish pennant measures to around 600..

It will take me years before I get used to your terminology ie measured, move, bullish, pennant

At this point I just care about the 600 Golden Eggs. :)

Cheers

I like this one better. The current stage, for what it worth, is very much an extension of any sort. In fact, as I count the QQQ since March 2009, the current stretch of QQQ is the longest and smoothest run thus far. SPY is not that much different from QQQ during this stretch.

I'm still lurking, I just have nothing to add. I'm slowly gaining an understanding, eventually I think I'll be ready to dive into it, but right now I'm busy.

About a week ago you mentioned TA is "supply and demand" and surprisingly that's something to remember I'd sort of forgotten.

Henry,
has that PAAS chart that Shack posted failed today with large volume drop to 25.05? Or has it just back-tested the break-out?

Shack's chart is here,
Message 27965253

but I can't really tell where the falling wedge would hit today.

Right...I sometimes jokingly refer to "TAVoodoo" ...as a kind of sop to those who dismiss TA as voodoo witchcraft....But Classic TA is backed up by an extensive logical analysis of supply and demand and their interaction...May seem like voodoo magic when I briefly refer to a "triangle"...or a "Head and Shoulders"....but those concepts are backed by pages and pages of careful analytical reasoning..
