David, Received an e-mail form Victor Young this morning...the BUY recommendation from Octagon is out, but will not be released publicly until it is disseminated to all internal clients...Barry Thompson, president and CEO held the first, of what is to be many, analyst meetings on the 4th and 6 institutional analysts were there...they also held a meeting with Bloomenberg which is available on audio on the Bloomenberg network (wherever that is)...they are pilot testing their products with walmart and they have been favourably recieved, the only q is does walmart want duo suppliers (they are aligned with checkmate)...so how are your resource stocks performing... regards, hsg

Victor has e-mail????!!!! I'll have to send him some grief over the net. Well the buy recommendation has done squat for the company..What they really need to do is get endorsement from a brokerage firm from the USA. Or what is the point of a NASDAQ listing. Canadian investors have had enough of their story. We all heard it before just like the holy grail Wal-mart contract. Blah Blah Blah. The fact is the stock is still at $6.50 and we are all under water with the stock, there still seems to be a lot of selling down at this price (mostly on the bid) You mentioned that Q1 will be flat well that is the same story for the company and no analyst will buy that kind of excitement. I'm still not a believer and the market is telling the same story. I really just want to get off my position with this company and I will never look back at it. I will chalk it up to more market experience.. It just goes to show that you can invest in crap on the TSE as well as the ASE and VSE. Anyway if you see the report try to post it on this string. David P.S. I am glad to see that you have enough patience to talk to Victor PPS the resource stocks are holding up better than IVI

Fair enough, all of our patience with this management team has not paid off, but...with the change in management that took place last fall, and the increase in revenues (they have come up strongly in q3, q4), coupled with the fact that they are just starting to promote (which will include promo's in the US) the stock, and the fact that the promotion will have a lag (as analysts do due diligence and disseminate) as well as the fact that all of this is taking place prior to the AGM next month, I am still optimistic that IVI will have a substantial bounce. I was overseas all last fall and winter, and when I returned and read EVERY release on Verifact I was asstounded to see that the stock had not risen. Based on this I purchased even more...The past 6 months has been full of positives everywhere but on the share price...eventually it will (we will all be dead eventually too), and I think that right now is a very critical time due to all the info that is slated to come out and the inducement of greater coverage by analysts which should follow...am I being overly optimistic? hsg

Genltemen, it may be too early to break out the champagne, but guess what...IVI just got an order from Walmart in the US. They will not be issuing the #'s with the press release which comes out 8am EST but I will tell you what they are: the order is to be shipped by May, it is their largest ever US single purchase order and it is worth 4.5 Million canadian dollars...Walmart still deals with Checkmate, but this order is larger than any that Checkmate has recieved from Walmart...THIS IS BIG BIG NEWS!!!!!!! In my previous post I mentioned (and David has implied) that analyst coverage is required...this may be the catalyst for such coverage...David, you are of course correct that the US is where the stock should be promoted, and since they are dealing with one of the US's largest companies, and if I am not mistaken, the largest retailer in the world, this will be a very very good reason for US analyst to pick up coverage...David, KAB, stay on this bus a little longer, we may be in for a very interesting ride tommorow ps. if this dog trades flat, I give up all hope... regards, hsg
