I like VTNR and think it has considerable upside potential. They are a recycler of used oil. Here are the reasons I like it: 1. They have been growing for a number of years and I expect that to continue. 2. Their input costs are somewhat tied to natural gas whereas their product is sold at prices indexed to crude oil. Since natural gas has been dropping in price and oil has been going up, I think their margins will expand. 3. They have a number of growth initiatives including: - Expanding the amount of used oil that they collect - Expanding their TCEP facilities which convert the used oil to their finished product - I believe this will improve margins as they have more used oil than production capacity. - Improving the TCEP process so that they capture more margin - Acquisitions or new strategic relationships Their recent presentation at Jefferies is a good place to start for DD: Slides - docs.google.com Audio - wsw.com

Actually i do respect the board here i just have a problem with coffehound he/she is just plain rude. If someone didnt know the rules they get hit with a rude comment about "doesnt meet the requirements" followed by "it prolly a scam pos anyway". As far as your "revolting" comment i completely disagree. Whether its a Nasdaq trading at 20.00 or a pos penny trading at .0002 nothing is a sure thing and ANYBODY can lose money on ANY investment if they don't time it right. Even people that bought GOOG F NFLX etc. on the top hurtin. I cant tell you how many Nasers i have seen kill people after scams and Bancruptcies etc. so just becuase the rules tighter dont mean it safe necessarily. Less risky yes completely safe no. If this is your primary objective, then I might suggest you try and "pay the bills" the old fashioned way and find a job and stop looking to pawn junk penny stocks off on unwitting buyers. See another rude comment. You dont know me i actually hold my plays and DO NOT dump on people. I am actually here to make people money by giving alerts early near bottom that ARENT 1 day flips. I have over 200 stocks in my port and if you check out my board youll see i try to alert cheap and they usually DO run hard with patience and trust me I hate flippers too. As far as unwitting buyers go people need to take responsiblity for their own trades. If you dont know what you doing and believe some pump promo pos email then thats on the buyer for being stupid and trying to make quick dollar. I mean would i attempt to build a house without having the skills? NO. So people should treat investing the same way. If you dont know what you doing then take the time to learn or pay someone to do it for you. As for the "pennies arent dead" board goes it has MANY successful stocks too so be careful what you say about it. I gaurantee i have had more 10 baggers in there this year than any room on SI. BTW i do like investing stocks long term too thats why i tried to bring a couple over here. CIBH one of my Favs.
