Did someone say "IPO"? Where? When? I'm a sucker for an IPO.

Hi guys.

Hiya, Fish; I'm assuming you've been busier that a one-legged man at a cockroach stomping contest, 'cause you've been MIA around here for a while. What's your opinion on NAVR's outlook for the next 6-12 months? cb

Mornin, Cisco; Shorting would have been profitable, but I don't short. Once the first delay was announced (IMO) we should have abandoned our long positions and started to swing trade. I did this in May '99 and made some decent money, but I still cringe when I think of how much $$ I could have made if I wised up earlier. I am in NAVR now at what I consider a decent level ($1.35) but am trying to be more realistic about it's potential. I am hoping to make 1 or 2 more trades, selling around the $2 level before the buyback is complete and buying back between 1.25 and 1.40. I want to be in this stock when NAVR gets done buying because, if EP holds true to form, we should see a nice percentage pop soon afterwards. If I'm wrong I see absolutely no downside from here and cannot get burnt. The only thing NAVR has going against it right now is it's past mistakes, which may stick in some of the investors craws, but the overall sentiment out there right now is "What have you done for me lately?". (Just ask anybody that is still hanging with the high fliers of 2 years ago). cb

Zurdo, I'm the one who wrote "I love Annette" under the bench with my rusty knife back in '99.
Man, that was a century ago.....

CB or Zurdo, didn't EP sell like 2 million shares of this POS back in the summer of 99 when it reached 21-22?

What am I complaining about, I sold in the summer of 99 also, I think it was at .....nevermind, someone pass the liquor bottle.

Sly; Yeah, he did! The rest of us thought we knew more about NAVR than he did and held. DUHH! I like AMCC and am hoping to get in by mid-summer, hoping for an end of year rally. When the market turns bullish for the long run, the chip stocks should be the first ones out of the block. JMHO Bob

CB, 20 million shares x 21 bucks per share = $42 million dollars that BASTARD EP collected off of us. DAMN, talk about selling into strength (LOL)...

Whats a good price for AMCC? I am hoping the forthcoming warning season will drag it down to the 14 range, thats my 'rabid' entry price. Any thoughts?

Yeah I remember when you did that, Sly... and just above your handiwork, on the top side of the bench, there was a big swatch of the Bald Martian's ass, where it had caught on a wad of gum I accidently left behind. It eventually dried out and flapped in the wind mournfully as NAVR's price continued to dip....sigh....
